Works exactly as needed. I have 3 computers and a printer that I like to all have wired network connections. I only have 1 network port on the back of my ISP router. So I plug that into this port splitter and I have wired ports for all 3 computers and the printer. So I get max transfer speeds for everything.

I keep shifting gear around and my network needs require more drops as I do that. While Wi-Fi is great to use with my tablet and phone, there are many devices for which I always prefer to have direct wired Ethernet connections for throughput speed and stability. HDTVs, monitors, a laptop, desktop and an iMac, two TiVo units, router& Wi-Fi extenders, Synology backup, several printers & scanners and more all work MUCH more reliably with wired connections than using Wi-Fi, especially for streaming and large file transfers.Cost for a 2-, 4-, or 8-port unmanaged switch is not that different, but there are specific places where I use 2- or 4-port switches because I do not need more ports with gear in different parts of the house. In some cases, I use two 2-port devices to enable three connections, but such use tends to get messy looking. Four ports seem to be the right number for most workstations, while two ports are okay where there are fewer components. My latest reorganization is creating three different computer stations with an option for a floating computer which needs Ethernet drops in more than one spot. In the new configurations I only have one location that needs five ports. This ARCELI 1 to 4 splitter rounds out my network needs, I have four 2-port, two 4-port and a single 6-port splitter and a couple of 2-port spares. Several places only need a single drop, for those I run a single dedicated cable. This ARCELI device is plenty of speed and is built to last. I prefer the black color over grey or other colors because the black color and the form factor make this device unobtrusive. You just plug things in, add a USP PSU connection and everything works, with no configuration, app or software to deal with. The indicator lights are a nice touch, you can see immediately if things are working and okay. This switch appears to be robust and well made, so I expect it will last pretty much forever.Plus, I like ANY blinking lights in my tech environment. My spouse thinks I am nutsy with all the RGB goodies at my various stations.

This Ethernet switch is based on the inexpensive RealTek RTL8367S chip. The outer shell is extruded and anodized aluminum with two end plates held in place with philips screws. The PCB is simple with the realtek chip on the bottom, and the ports, capacitors, resistors and power management on the top. There is a lot of empty space inside the box. I was disappointed to see that the realtek chip did not have a thermal pad to conduct heat into the chassis.I do like that the power supply is USB-C and works with both USB A->C and C->C cables. At the $15-25 price point, there are more robust Ethernet switches available where the main chip does have a thermal pad and actually come with a power supply as opposed to just a power cable. So I can't really recommend this model at its current price.

Inexpensive little switch that does the job really well. Speeds have been fast, no issues whatsoever, and I really like that it's USB-C as opposed to a lot of switches that have proprietary power. A small USB block I had at home provided power to it and setup was super easy - it just worked. Definitely recommend for small home networking projects that require extra hardwires.

A great device to free up the WiFi bandwidth for items right next to my router and modem. I can put my TV and game systems on this device. It is a great option to have. I only have one thing I am not thrilled about but it is just me, that I don’t get an Ethernet cable for each connector.

I needed a simple splitter to hard line my internet to both my tv and my PS5. This device was plug and play, very simple to use. It requires power and comes with a USB-C to USB-A cable, but does not come with a wall box. It can run 4 simultaneously (up to 1 Gbps each port), so you don't have to worry about sharing data speeds. There is an indicator light on each port, including the input port. Great value for the money.

I picked this up when my router was replaced and it went from 3 outputs to one. I needed to add this in order to ensure that all of my wired peripherals would continue to work as some are not wifi.As expected this was a no brainer to install, the only gripe is that this is installed in my basement and it requires a USB A power block to work, so now one of my blocks is forever destined to sit in the basement, but all in all no big deal.It works as expected, what else is there to say. Onlly 4 stars because I have no idea of the longevity of the unit since it is brand new. No reason to doubt it will be humming for a long time but one never knows.

Nice and compact. I used this to connect my printer and laptop to the same ethernet connection. This isn't a switch so if both connected devices are being used at the same time you will get a slowdown. I wasn't worried about that since the printer isn't used all the time. It doesn't come with a power supply so you will need to power it from your computer or get a power supply. Price is reasonable.
