It works as described, but it only held a charge for 3 hours. I typically drive over 6 when traveling to camp sites. It starts depleting it's charge as soon as it's removed from the charger. So, wait till the last minute to charge it to get most working time. I love the strong magnet and monitor picture is good. Used it 3 times already.

This is exactly what I needed for backing up my truck to my travel trailer for hookup. Without the camera I am totally blind to the ball hitch, and need another person to guide me. Then after the trailer is hooked up, I can later use the camera on the back of the trailer to see where behind the trailer.I love the versatility of the magnetic base, and I can easily use this camera on different vehicles, unlike other systems that require a cable to be run from the back of the truck into the cab.The monitor synced up instantlywith the camera. Best investment made!

This is a great unit because the camera has a magnetic base and can be mounted on the bumper of your trailer without drilling any holes or providing power. The bumper mount gives great, wide-field views for backing up. It can be easily removed when not in use , and charged via usb c. The 5" monitor mounts easily to the dash with a strong suction device, and is powered with an adapter that plugs into the trucks 12v outlet. Very versatile as it can be easily moved between vehicles and the camera can be mounted in a variety of places

It takes too long to charge the battery if I drive for 10 hours a day and only works three hours full charge and then it takes five hours to recharge not happy

This was easy to setup and the image quality is decent, but I'm using it with a gooseneck trailer and it doesn't help as much as I hoped it would. The camera is mounted directly behind the track cab and I find it very difficult to judge the depth perception while looking at the monitor, so it's difficult to get the ball properly aligned under the hitch. There is definitely a risk of backing up too far. Maybe with practice it would get better, but I find I can do better by just visually aligning the way I did before. Since the monitor supports two cameras, I thought a solution might be to mount a second camera in-line with the ball, so that I could see it from two different angles simultaneously. However, I bought a second Eway camera that looks EXACTLY like the one that came with this package, but it would not pair with the monitor. After finally giving up and contacting customer service, they said the 2nd camera I bought will only pair with iPhone and Android. To be fair, the listing for the 2nd camera did say that it pairs with those platforms, but since it did NOT say that it would not pair with the Eway monitor, and it was the only camera they offered that it looks exactly like the one I already had, I assumed that it would work. Bad assumption. Eway support told me the only way to use two cameras is to buy the package that comes with a monitor and 2 cameras.

This is perfect for watching my horses in the trailer. The magnet on the camera is strong. The auction for the viewing screen sticks to the windshield perfectly. Connection was great and easy to set up. The only downfall is that the screen needs to be plugged in to the lighter socket in order to work. It would be better if there was a way to charge the screen and use it without it being plugged in.

I purchased EWAY Wireless Magnetic Hitch Backup Camera with 5'' LCD Monitor Display for our Class B Sprinter van camper. I needed to see the boat trailer while driving. Our Sprinter camera only works when in reverse (there is a product that will change the internal computer for 350.00 but I didn't want to mess with my Sprinter's computer and forfeit my warranty plus this was less expensive). I was able to connect this unit to the metal inside the Sprinter van's back door and have it look out the back window. I also put a safety strap on the camera to prevent it from falling if the magnet let loose. So far it has stayed in place. I can plug it in so it has a full charge for the entire trip (we usually travel 6-7 hours at a time). Without the camera being plugged in, the unit provided service for 4 hours. The picture quality was excellent for my needs and it never lost blue tooth connection with it's monitor. It was comforting to ensure my kayaks were trailering well. BEWARE: I first purchased this unit without the monitor. It was suppose to work with my cell phone. Once received the instructions stated that this will NOT work with some Samsung cell phones. (huh...it only mentioned not working with Google pixel phones in the advertisements. ) I have a Samsung S10 and my husband has an S22. The app would not work with either...(when trying to download the specific app it stated device not supported) and would not download. So I sent it back and received a full refund and then ordered the unit with a monitor. PERFECT. It blue toothed immediately. A little more money but it works flawlessly. Does what I need AND it will not tie up my cell phone during our travel. Also the magnet is very strong and soft so it does not hurt the surface metal it's connected to. Love this product. So far so good.

I received my new camera and display yesterday. The first thing that was wrong was the fact that the setup instructions were useless for the model of camera I received. Pressing and holding the on/off button did nothing. The button is a mechanical click type button, click for "on" and click again for "Off". There is no hold button for 3-5 seconds to put it in pairing mode. Therefore there is no way to manually pair the camea to the supplied wireless display. And, when the camera is on, it is not visible to ANY wi-fi network, not broadcasting at all. the display simply says "No Image" at all times.It seems to be a well made product, just does not match the supplied install procedures.
