This worked out great for our lab. The first day we tried it the air came whooshing out with a loud noise, so that scared him off the bat and I thought it would never work. As a matter of fact, that is the first day he learned to climb the boat ladder really quick! Haha.However with a lot of tries and a lot of patience, by the end of the day he was not only using it as a ladder, but as a platform to stand on as well. The only issue I have is it takes up so much room on the boat, but I can’t see any remedy for this. Our lab is about 55 lbs.

We have a Golden Retriever who had a difficult time climbing from the lake into our boat. This ramp makes it easy for her. We've had several boats stop us and inquiring about it. It is very sturdy and well made.

The net torn after 4 days... My labrador is 65lbs and we kept the dog ramp in the recommended conditions.The velcro wasn't strong enough to keep the metal bar. We almost lost it many times.

We have a 90 lb lab and this product did not hold up. After one use one rope broke, one carribeaner broke, the metal bars that are used to weight down the bottom “ramp” area, do not stay in place and came out and were lost, the whole reason I chose this brand over another. Also one of the fabric pieces on the “ramp” is coming off. Definitely needs some modifications to make things more durable. Disappointing for the cost.

Ordered this for my 96 lb. German shepherd to use in the lake. The biggest problem is the aluminum bar which frames the lower portion of the ramp. The frame designis not a stable and moves a lot. . Also it was supposed to have 2-D rings on the bottom for weighting which are not there. It seems a bit unstable but would be fine for a lighter weight dog. Also the 17” wide mesh area needs to be wider to allow for bigger dogs. I think I’m going to return it and look for a better design.

I did a lot of research before I made this purchase. We have two 75 lb rescue pitties that LOVE the water. We also own a vacation home on a lake. This doggy dock is a game changer. We put the dogs life jackets on and viola! They are completely independent we can go back to floating in the water, drinking beer. First dog had it figured out in under 2 minutes. The high strung crackhead dog took a bit longer, but by the end of the day, she was a pro. One thing to note…we were told hooking this to where the ladder is on our pontoon makes the ladder “unusable” for humans to use. Not true! The hook is right there. Just unhook one side, slide dock over and ladder is completely accessible.

This was strong enough for my 125 lbs dog, but not sturdy enough. She could not get from it to the boat because it would bob and move so much. The “platform” end is not large enough for her to use. Pictures are misleading since there is not space for her to stand on the end.
