I purchased this product to replace a broken Ram double ball swivel arm that held the GPS on my old goldwing. It looks good, it's made of aluminum, and has all varsatility of the Ram product I was using but with less knobs and joints.

These are very adjustable, and very easy to tighten to hold in place. I would be surprised if there’s anything better.. but the cost is borderline dealbreaker (come on, $30 for a little 5 inch section).. I use the 1 inch ball size in my car, and then used an adapter to adjust down to the 17 mm ball that cell phone holders use. No other phone holder will adjust to every position the way these things will. I wish I could afford them, then I would install one in the bedroom too.
