Crafted at our Ensenada, Mexico, manufacturing facility, this genuine Fender Player Plus Series Stratocaster guitar neck features a silky satin Modern “C” shape that fits your hand like a glove, with smooth rolled edges for supreme comfort. The 12” radius fingerboard and 22 medium jumbo frets facilitate fluid leads and choke free bends. The nut is pre-slotted with "pilot" string location grooves to make spacing a breeze when performing the final string slot filing, and a satin urethane finish offers smooth playability. For true Fender authenticity, it's also serialized and stamped, with genuine "Original Contour Body" headstock decal. This replacement neck is for a Fender or Squier by Fender guitar.

Love this. Get loads of compliments on how it feels. These Mexican aftermarket necks are higher quality than stock player necks

Fantastic. This maple neck is a bit tinted compared to other MiM replacement necks, which I really like. The radius (12) feels better to me than the standard (9.5). Very similar to my Les Paul. This neck fit in my American body neck pocket with a very small touch of play. Once tightened down, no worries. I use .11 gauge strings and I didn't have to adjust the truss rod during set up. So, if you use lighter strings you may have to fiddle with it a bit. Overall, I love it. So much, in fact, that I'll use this neck exclusively on future builds and may replace another neck or two in my collection with this one.

I tried to like my Stratocaster, but the neck hurt my index finger on my fretting hand. It sounded great, but was an effort to play. Not since the purchase of this 12" replacement neck from Fender. I too can now play a Stratocaster. It's very comfortable....I love it!The satin neck and rolled edges are smoooth.......I hope this helped somebody cause it has set me free!Party On!

Since you don’t get to see the product you actually purchase, take caution. Mine has a big dark spot in the middle of an otherwise light brown fretboard. Beyond that, it feels great with the satin back and rolled edges.

First, I was shipped window blinds the first time I ordered this, and it took about 30 days to get my refund after I returned it. Second, when I took it in to be set up at a Fender listed guitar tech, it took him 3 tries to get it even relatively playable. I can’t say if it was him or if it was the neck with absolutely confidence, but from his perspective, the neck was a piece of garbage. There was a ton of work to be done on it, so if you get this, expect to pay essentially the equivalent amount on setup services, unless you’re skilled and want to try to set up yourself. But it is not a plug and play, so buckle up. I will probably never buy a new neck like this again; it makes just as much sense to buy a new guitar at this point.
