Used 18v Milwaukee 3/8" impact drill on dry oak...works really great until it sheers the hex bit. Price looks good and works l, but not heavy duty at all. Would not recommend...now I'm going to purchase one that is more heavy duty.

Works on small dry wood.. You need a strong drill. Split near the end of the wood. If it gets stuck reversing the drill only unscrews it from the drill. You will then need a adjustable pliers to remove it from the wood. Otherwise it works to quickly split wood.

It just gets stuck and it takes too long to get it out. Going back to the old fashioned hatchet.

These are well made and I cannot take that away from the product. BUT, I heat my cabin with Oak and they do not work at all for doing that. The sales pitch video is deceiving and they must have been splitting soft wood like pine etc.. Even with my big 1 horsepower drill I could Not split the Oak chunks. I even ratchet strapped the oak chunk down so the oak chunk wouldn't spin on me, it still was a fail. The Old Faithful 27 ton Wood Splitter is still the Boss!

Wish it had directions on what tip of logs size to use it on and which way to use it

We had to have trees cut in our yard. After they cut the logs, we needed to split them. Since we didn’t know how to use an ax, (didn’t even own an ax) we bought the attachments to use with our drill. It works on small logs, like tree limbs. Hire someone to split the tree trunks!!!

A battery powered drill isn't powerful enough. When the tool stops and you have to reverse it, it unscrews the shaft from the tool leaving it stuck in the wood. I am very disappointed.

It does not work as stated. Very disappointed. Was excited and was planning ordering more for stocking stuffers but not now.
