Enhances grip a lot, and it looks REALLY good. This stuff is absolutely awesome! I used the 30mm size for my thin bait caster, worked great although smaller would have fit too.

At my age, I have a little bit of arthritis going on in my hands. So when I'm out all day fishing with my casting poles, they start to stiffen up a bit late in the day. These grips do protect the rod handles, and seem to add just a little bit of softness to them. Not sure how much it will really help the arthritis, but they do look and feel good.I was a little bit concerned about how easy they would be to install. Turns out, very easy. MAKE SURE you measure your rod handle diameters, in centimeters. Then order the right size, going 5cm above your measurement. That way, they slide on easily. I had thought about just trying my wife's expensive hair dryer to get them to shrink, but in the end bought a cheap heat gun, which worked great. If you do a good job measuring and cutting them (use good scissors), they look professional.

Used this to cover some warn areas on my Penn Passion rod because Im just not ready to give it up yet. This worked out well. We cut to size and used my hair dryer to shrink around the rid grip.

These work pretty good. I've tried several types and these might be my favorite. They shrink to fit pretty easily on my fishing poles and they can be stretched and shrink fitted back in place if you need to move them. Love the different colors, and for the price they are pretty good.

Used this shrink wrap to cover the aged cork tape wrap on a deckhand jig rod. The wrap shrunk very easily and evenly on medium heat setting. Use a hot glove or leather work glove while heating the shrink wrap to help squeeze and form the material to the rod. Use caution as the shrink wrap does get fairly hot.

Each of the sizes that I ordered came slightly larger, which would’ve been OK except that the shrinking is not nearly as extreme as with most other types of shrink wrap. I’m sure I will find something to use it for, but it’s not really going to suit my purposes..
