It kicks out of the rope easily which is annoying

Very cost effective and that’s the only reason why it’s worth 2 stars. The spring is very weak and will easily allow the rope to slip out. About every 3 steps it slips out putting an effective stop on my movement. The strap also has a poor design. With no way to properly secure down the strap tightly it loves to slip out making you lose 2-3in a step in the process again this tends to happen once every 3 steps. At the end of the day if you need a foot ascender for work or rescue work then I highly suggest investing in a good foot ascender.

There is no way to keep the rope in the ascender.

It's ok but I have a small foot(shoe size us7 1/2) and it's hard to get on and off
