My RES is very picky and likes her food different from time to time. But she took to this and doesn't mind chasing chunks around in the water and definitely eating all I give her. WONDERFUL!

I wanted a more natural food to feed my spotted turtle because of all the junk they put in pellets. So I gave these a try after grasshoppers and she absolutely loves these fish. No hesitation on eating. Similarly I gave one to my ferret to try and he loves them too. At first he seemed a bit skeptical but after hiding one and eating it later he regularly takes these if I offer and he even begs for them. Very healthy food for both of them. Very happy. They would last a several months if I only fed my turtle with them but my ferret eats about 4 to 6 a day so I'm thinking these will only last about a month or 2. Seems to be a good trade off for the money.

So I only had this for a week max and it stunk so bad when I opened for the first time but I was like it’s dried fish maybe it’s me. Then all of my pets refused to eat it which was again so weird bc I buy another brand that’s the same thing. A few days later I was sitting at my desk and I noticed something moving from the corner of my eye. In the jar there was multiple bugs, different types (flies, and some type of beetle) literally crawling around the jar. I don’t think they were really dried. Had to toss and they don’t refund so a waste of money . Don’t buy.

I've been feeding this occasionally to an adult musk turtle. I cut each chunk up into 2-4 smaller pieces because as is they are too big for my turtle (musk turtles are small). I then soak the food in hot water for 10 minutes or so just to make sure they are fully hydrated, and then drop into the tank. I'm unable to use the egg yolk though because it just crumbles. The turtle seems to enjoy eating these little meat chunks. I probably wouldn't use this as a main diet, but its' great for occasional treats, or just to add some diversity.
