I bought this mount because the mount for my old Garmin GPS was too small. I wasn’t sure how well this would actually hold the new, larger GPS (Garmin RV 895) but I decided to risk it. After using this on several road trips, I can say my gamble paid off. This mount was extremely simple to connect to my Garmin, and it holds it quite securely. It doesn’t slip on the dash of my motorhome. This does everything a GPS mount should do, and I didn’t even have to drill any holes in my dash. I’m quite happy.

Used to hold old Garman 2595L GPS. Held Gps safety in place whilst on a week long road trip. Unit sits on very smooth dashmat, without needing double sided tape, weighted designed works well. Ball joint connection allows gps screen to be adjusted with very little slippage. Screen held in position even on rough road surfaces and base seemed fastened to dashmat. Small enough to hide. For security reasons when travelling I disconnected gps from power cable and moved the dash mount (gps attached) out of sight when parked. Highly recommended if you need to mount gps or phone holder with ball socket on your dash without mess.

Works great with a Garmin DriveSmart 76 GPS (7 inches, so too large for someone other types of holders). I subtracted one star as it came with zero instructions. Even though only a little preparation is required, there are two levers that it would be nice to have a slip of paper with at least diagrams to explain what the levers are for, how to insert the holder with the ball into the base, and such. The beanbag device does sit nicely on my dashboard. I greatly prefer this over various suction cup type holders I've used with various GPSs in the past.

This is my second one of this brand. I got the first because the suction cups that come with GPS's, etc never work well and are hard to reposition. I have used this type of mount over 15 years and really liked it. I got this one because I needed one for my other vehicle. It just works.Pros: It is easy to adjust. You can put anywhere on your dash or console.Cons: It can slide on the dash, but you can reposition the bags to keep it in place.After using my first one of this brand for over 6 months, I can highly recommend it.

Fits my Garmin perfectly. My old original Garmin stand was 25 years old and was slipping all over my dash.This one is perfect. Stays in place. Even looks exactly like the original one did 25 years ago, before the sun faded it.Great product.

It slips across the dash. I ended up adding velcro to the bottom to keep it in place. Other than that it's great.

Fits only 6 inch or smaller Garmin GPS. For an 8 inch or larger Garmin GPS, an (expensive!) adapter has to be purchased to use the ISaddle. The ISaddle was stable when the adapter and an 8 inch Garmin GPS was fitted (The GPS and ISaddle DIDN'T topple over when in use in the car). Great product.

I had one of these for my 1st Garmin GPS and it worked great. I bought a second GPS for the other vehicle and I needed another mount for it. I bought a Garmin labeled unit and it was defective, returned it and bought a 2nd Garmin unit, it also was defective, so it was returned. I then looked for one like the first mount I bought and found it. It works correctly and easy to use and hods my GPS unit secure on the dash. No suction to the window. I would recommend this unit as it will turn right or left and has a ratchet to hold it in place where you turn it to. The ball mount to the GPS will allow the vertical adjustment desired.
