I got this mini pc hoping it could help me out with my small business. However when I got it and hooked it up, it wouldn’t turn on. I have tried several different outlets. I also know it’s not my monitors or stuff like that because I use them for work. I plug this in, hit the power button and NOTHING happens. Don’t waste your money on this.

The Geekom A6 is an amazing computer for the price. It is fast and easy to set up. I think this computer is aimed at corporate desktops where it would be a good fit and a replacement for desktop computers. It is fast and great for home use but is not suitable for gaming. It is powerful enough for any home or office applications including some CAD use. Downsides are it does not include a 3.5mm jack for PC speakers. The headphone jack can be used for this use however. The BIOS is primitive and is pretty much locked down. Overclocking is out of the question. The hardware does not support the Windows Sleep function. It comes with Windows 11 Pro which may not be ideal for home applications. All things considered, it is a great computer for the money and should replace a desktop computer in most applications.

Pretty amazing size & power for such a small PC. Comes with all the cables you need to get started which is nice too. !tb & 32gb is enough to power and support most applications, though I don't think this should be considered a gaming Pc as it is just to small for any real AAA games coming out, and there could be heat issues even if you got it working. Fro standard operations like internet, Microsoft applications, and so forth, this will work wonders. Unable to register for warranty as the site's page is empty, not a good sign.

I was looking for a mini-PC to interface with my weather station and post that data to a public web site. I tried the GEEKOM A6 out - here's what I like: - This little PC comes bundled well: + 32 gig on DDR5 Ram + 1 TB SSD + Dual HDMI video output at 4K resolution with an HDMI cable provided. + Wi-Fi 6e and 2.5 gig ethernet. + 3 high speed USB 3.2 ports, a regular USB 2.0 port, a USB 4 type-C port, and a USB 3.2 type-C port. + An SD card reader and an audio jack. + Bluetooth + Windows 11 Pro preinstalled. + Mounting kit for under desk or wall mount. - Windows was activated out of the box, no need to enter any codes. - Wi-Fi speeds were measured 850 Mbit down, 1250 Mbit up at my router - true Wifi6 bandwidth. - The ethernet connects at 2.5 gig.Some comments... - Since Bit Locker is turned on by default, it must be turned off in order to get into the BIOS. Little is available in the BIOS - generally boot devices and power setup. No performance features such as over-clocking and voltage adjustments are available. - While you might be able to find a utility to enable over-clocking, I wouldn't recommend it. There isn't a way to enhance cooling beyond what is already provided. The processor is only rated at 45 watts - driving it to consume more power will most likely shorten its lifespan. Indeed, I set up a transcoding job to create a 4K H265 MP4 file, and the processor hit 95°C! There may be a way to limit the workload, but I haven't found any AMD tools that do that yet. - While GEEKOM states the PC has a 3-year warranty, I was unable to register my PC for warranty purposes. The warranty section on their web site is empty. - While installing the latest Windows updates when initially setting the PC up, the PC would hang when installing the 2025-01 series of updates. I finally reset the PC with a fresh copy of Windows from Microsoft which made this issue go away. If you're looking for an application PC (or a Linux platform), this bundle has a lot to offer. I wouldn't push it though. The little fan that provides cooling has only so much capacity, and there is no way to safely increase that capacity. A true gaming computer this is not. I'm also skeptical of the lack of support since specific information, updates or utilities is non-existent on the GEEKOM web site.

*** Update 03.06.2024. Das Problem mit dem flackernden Bildschirm habe ich gelöst. Der schuldige in dieser doch recht nervigen Angelegenheit war das HDMI Kabel. Das war auch wohl das allerletzte auf das ich gedacht habe. Im ganzen Support Prozess wurde ich unterstützt soweit das halt über die Ferne und in Schriftform möglich ist. Mir wurde ein kostenloses Ersatzgerät angeboten welches jetzt nicht notwendig ist und mir natürlich auch lieber ist. Zudem wurde mir ein Kostenersatz für das HDMI Angeboten was ich sehr positiv bewerte. Da ich aber davon eh genug herumliegen habe, benötigte ich auch keinen Ersatz. Deshalb wieder die vollen 5 Sterne für das Produkt und den Support.Ab hier der alte Text meiner Rezension.Als Ersatz für einen dicken Tower mit den Netzteilen die Störungen im UHF Bereich verursachen, war dieser A7 wohl die richtige Wahl. Seitdem ist Ruhe auf den Bändern.Er startet in gut unter 15 Sekunden in Windows 11 hinein und auch diverse Browser öffnen rasch und das arbeiten macht mit dem kleinen Gerät schon einen Spaß. Es geht alles flüssig von der Hand. Für Surfen und Office ein sehr leises Gerät das auch nicht wirklich viel Strom verbraucht im Vergleich zu diversen Desktop Alternativen.Aber einen nervigen Aspekt hat zumindest mein Gerät. Jedes mal wenn ich Medien wie Bilder oder Videos öffne, wird der Bildschirm für ein paar Sekunden Schwarz. Woran das genau liegt ist mir ein Rätsel aber es nervt leider sehr und das schmälert für Multimedia Anwendungen den Spaß deutlich.Beispiel.:Ich öffne ein Bild in Whatsapp damit ich es Vollbild ansehen kann. Bildschirm wird Schwarz.Ich öffne ein Bild in Telegram damit ich es Vollbild ansehen kann. Bildschirm wird Schwarz.Ich öffne ein Bild oder Video vom Windows Explorer für Vollbild. Bildschirm wird Schwarz.Ich spiele ein Video auf Youtube ab und bei Vollbild wird der Bildschirm nicht immer Schwarz. Mal so und mal so.Ich finde hierfür leider keine Lösung oder Erklärung. ((( Problem durch neues HDMI Kabel gelöst )))Fazit: Für Office ausreichend, für Multimedia Anwendungen in meinem Fall ungeeignet. Unterm Strich für mich in diesem wohl Einzelfall ein teures aber flottes Officegerät.

Sûrement l'un des mini pc les plus puissants actuellement sur la marché. J'en ai testé quelques-uns avant de lancer mon choix sur ce dernier. La configuration a de quoi donner envie : le récent Ryzen 9 7940HS couplé a la partie graphique 780M, équipé de 32Go de mémoire vive CRUCIAL en 5600Mhz et un SSD ACER N6000 de 2To. Le tout propose des performances de haut niveau dans un boîtier équivalent à la taille d'un portefeuille. Tout simplement incroyable.En terme de performances pures j'ai pu tester face à mon pc de bureau équipé d'un Ryzen 9 5900X bridé à 105W d'origine. Ici le 7940HS est bridé à 45W en boost mais on obtient des performances très proches du processeur de pc de bureau de la génération précédente ! Et les températures restent tout à fait contenue. On comprends pourquoi Geekom a limité le boost à 45W car le système de refroidissement est parfait pour cette température mais vu le faible encombrement, il ne peut pas supporter pleinement un boost à 65W, même si on peut quand même y accéder. Le score multi se situe entre 6500 et 7200 en fonction du boost, le score mono cœur se situe aux alentours de 670. Mon 5900X tourne lui aux alentours de 7800 (en 16T) et 670 en mono. Pour une consommation bien plus importante !Les températures sont en conséquence, avec des pics à 88°C en sortie de boite. Plutôt pas mal pour un pc qui ne fait pas tant de bruit que ça, car le boitier a été très bien prévu de ce côté là et étouffe de bien belle manière le bruit du ventilateur. On peut tout à fait travailler à côté de lui sans être gêné. Autre point à considérer : il existe dans le bios trois options pour les courbes de ventilation (je ne sais pas si c'est accessible sous Windows, je n'ai pas trouvé l'option ou le logiciel pour le moment.) entre le mode normal, quiet et performance. Le mode performance reste toutefois très discret !On a alors un mini pc qui est taillé pour la production, sans sourciller, peut encaisser premier pro ou photoshop même si on peut arriver rapidement aux limites de 32Go de mémoire vive sur les gros projets. La plateforme accepte jusqu'à 64Go on en a encore sous le capot !Gros, énorme avantage est la possibilité de connecter une carte graphique de bureau sur le port Thunderbolt 4 ! On passe donc d'une machine polyvalente à une véritable machine de production, notamment sous premiere avec une NVIDIA RTX qui tire alors parti de la puissance disponible pour optimiser le rendu, qui est également disponible sous after effects ! J'ai branché ma 3080TI avec un boitier Razer X et c'est parfaitement reconnu et fonctionnel, sans sourciller ! Bien sur la partie graphique est déjà très bien pourvue et permet de tenir sans problèmes des jeux classiques en resolution et options modérées. Ne comptez pas faire tourner Cyberpunk en 4K ULTRA, mais Fortnite, CS, DOTA ou encore Valorant sont loin de lui faire peur et cet APU est vraiment loin d'être ridicule.La connectivité et les options sont nombreuses : Wifi 6E, Lan 2,5Gb, Bluetooth 5.2, et la rétrocompatibilité Thunderbolt 3 qui permet d'utiliser tous vos périphériques compatibles (notamment mon Hub Corsair qui a été reconnu de suite!).Si on doit lui trouver des points négatifs, parce qu'il en faut, c'est l'impossibilité de rajouter un SSD ou un disque dur supplémentaire, pas de port de libre, et le démontage qui se fait en décollant les pieds en caoutchouc, afin d'atteindre la seule chose qu'on peut modifier, la mémoire vive. Le SSD maxi supporté étant de 2Tb, on risque d'être assez vite limité. A ce moment on pourrait prévoir d'investir dans un disque dur externe de bonne facture, voir de travailler avec un NAS ou un cloud pour ne pas être encombré.Un rapport qualité prix impressionnant, une machine avec de belles capacités, pour limiter autant que possible son setup, je ne peux que vous conseiller ce mini pc. Les performances et les capacités qu'il offre sont dans le haut du panier de ce qui se fait actuellement sur le marché. Je recommande avec grand plaisir !

Acheté pendant le Black Friday à un prix très compétitif. Machine ultra performante dans un boîtier minuscule (plus petit qu'un MAC mini M4).Rien à dire du pur bonheur avec Windows 11 Pro préinstallé. Finition au top, connectique généreuse (difficile de placer plus de connecteurs sur ce mini PC), silencieux et performant.

I am very impressed with the Mini IT12 (mine is the I7). My main desktop is an older Windows 7 machine, and many important applications and programs no longer are supported in Windows 7, so I looked around and found several reputable commercial reviews that were quite positive about the experience of owning a Geekom mini pc. Mine has Windows 11, 2 40gb/sec USB 4 ports, etc. And to put icing on the cake, when I had issues with the first pc I ordered they made sure I got a replacement quickly, etc. Come to find out it was my stupid errors that were causing the problem (wanted addtl storage and kept ordering a PCie SSD instead of a SATA one). All is good now and I would buy again.
