How to Make Greek Yogurt?
Two Step Filtering:
(1) Natural Filtering:
① Pour the yogurt into inner container,without the spring and the pusher.
② Allow whey to naturally separate a portion of it by gravity
③ It is generally recommended to refrigerate for 4-6 hours.
④ When filtering, there needs to be air constantly entering, without fastening the lid.
(2) Pressure Filtration:
① Add the spring and the pusher to apply pressure.
② The filtering time is about 8 hours(over night), the long the better.
③ Whey is overflow from both the top and bottom is normal phenomenon.

Yogurt strainer not very sturdy, one of the tabs that hold down the lid broke off the first time it was used. Not overly impressed with the quality. Tabs holding lid on will break very easily so be very careful when snapping down the lid

This is a fairly simple contraption to use when straining batches of yogurt to make a Greek style yogurt. However, the included instructions are entirely in Chinese characters, so the seller needs to add at least English and Spanish in order to market to US consumers.The parts are not labeled as dishwasher safe, but they are easy to clean via dish soap and water. Yogurt making is not an exact science, and the instructions don't clarify how to gauge when the straining is adequate for a true Greek yogurt. They don't explain what can be done with the whey.A few tweaks would give this another star, and for yogurt makers, this is a nice piece of equipment to have on hand if Greek yogurt is in the cards.

Easy to use, instead of the cloth and weight method we used before. Size is bigger than we thought. That's fine, since you can put smaller quantities too. The photo is the filter in our refrigerator.This is made well, quality is very good. You add the yogurt to the mesh container and then attach the spring to the pressure container and close the lid. It's that simple.
