Many pads like these are being replaced by ipads or the equivalent where the server enters everything electronically via drop-down menus and the information is conveyed to the kitchen without any paper being exchanged. But there is often more possibility of error among those electronic orders (when servers choose the wrong drop down or what the customer wants doesn't correspond exactly to any of the available electronic options). There are still environments where the old-fashioned ways of doing things require a paper server pad, and this set of six is one of the best. These can be used in a variety of casual or more formal dining settings - the paper is lightweight and takes pen or pencil easily. The pages are perforated at the top of each page, and all six pads are imprinted with prompts like the date and the table number and the chapes and sizes of tables and booths the server is likely to encounter. There is even a reminder printed on each page "take order left to right clockwise," with accompanying labeled diagrams. Perhaps someday these kinds of guest checks will be completely obsolete, but in the meantime, these pads are easy to use and provide a clear record of what was ordered which is flexible enough to be customized.

The size of these are kind of large but they still fit in my server book which is your basic size. These are actually a really good price it's super affordable super easy to use as well

I like the design of these guest check pads - simple and clean. Great for taking orders or just general to do list purposes. There is not tear-off receipt if that's important to you, but those are kind of obsolete anyway, so a waste of space in my opinion.
