I received and empty envelope and tried to contact Amazon but there was no catagory that described this issue and they wouldnt respond. So I contacted the supplier, Guyker, and they said it's not their problem! So they have permanently lost a customer as I will never buy from them again. And I will advise no one else to either, whenever possible. They got their $10.99 and thats all they seem to care about. Deplorable customer service

Good value for the money. Good fit with minor sanding and filing as is always necessary. Has pilot slots located to make nut slot filing easy.

Arrived promptly and packaged well, installation was easy. It's said brass adds warmth, I agree. It starts with the fit, price is reasonable for a budget build PARTSCASTER. Zinc block, brass saddles and brass nut added tonal warmth. A quality unit I recommend, polished brass looks great, sounds great and functions as it should.

Mine was not a flat bottom and was cut a bit low. JJ I have yet to see a fender style nut that doesn't require fitment (sanding) to make it fit the nut slot, I suspect you just hammered in the nut and in doing so YOU ruined your neck. Nuts are nuts that difficult to fit slowly sand the nut on a flat surface to fit the nut to the slot, then do the same to the bottom to lower the height. If you don't feel qualified to do this take it to a luthier.

Bought this for a Stratocaster "Yngwie" Build I'm doing, Stratocaster and Telecaster nuts have a specific shape, these do not match that, so they must be Modded and shimmed to fit a Strat, on the above page they state it fits Strats, Teles' and acoustic guitars, I can see where it may be a better fit for an acoustic guitar. That being said, they specify the measurements above, and the nut is of good quality and workmanship, just not going to be a drop in replacement.

I used this for the ongoing modification of my Squier Mustang - the bargain guitar for modders at the moment. I had replaced the bridge saddles (look at reviews of the Mustang and you'll quickly find out why) with brass ones and thought I'd like the nut to match. Normally I make my own bone nuts, but this is the easiest replacement I've ever done. Took the old plastic nut out, popped this one in, and job is done. The nut has the typical Stratocaster curve towards the high E string, and I need the lower strings to be a little higher than that as I'm looking for a nearly flat radius for slide, so I will be putting a shim of rosewood veneer under the treble side, but for most guitars this is perfect out of the box. Nice product, and a good price.

It needed a little filing to fit the existing slot. better too thick than too thin. Will but again when I redo my other Stratocaster. Thank you.

Nice brass nut. Well polished. Pre slots can be cut/adjusted with files as needed. I didn't pay attention to the 43mm spec. I needed 42mm, but 1mm is not much of a difference so I trimmed a half mm off both ends with fine sandpaper. Voila 42mm length.Installed on a tele neck and works great. A bit more difficult to file slots compared to bone but can be done to set action as you like

These are high quality and great looking. I build custom guitars on the side. saw these while looking for another Tusq nut and thought to try it, real happy I did. I decided now to make these the standard nut that I add to my guitars. One I used so far fell right in without any shimming or cutting, and another needed a slight shim on one side. The sustain on this Jazzmaster I built is insane. Between this nut and the P90 pickups used is it quite killer.
