Just what I needed. But I spent a while reviewing various brands and paying careful attention to the size of the case to make sure mine would fit snug. So measure you binoculars and make sure the case size is adequate.

As I was hoping, this case perfectly fits my Bushnell ‘powerview’ 12x25s that I’ve had for years. These are solid and handy little binos that I don’t believe are made anymore, so I’m wanting to do what I can to take care of then. That said, this same form factor appears to be really common in value priced compact binoculars, and this case should work well for them, in my case much better than the flimsy faux-leather bag that came with the Bushnells. This case is semi-rigid, form fitting, and made of what appears to be nylon on the outside and a soft plush cushion material on the inside. The zippers are nice, don’t hang up or get stuck like some cheap ones will, and they have rubberized pulls. An elastic keeper is strung across the cavity to retain the binoculars in the event the case is accidentally left unzipped. I tested the water resistance of the case shell with a few drops sprinkled on the exterior. They immediately soaked in, which tells me that if you happen to go for a dunk with this case they will likely be OK as long as you get out of the water quickly, take the binoculars out and let the case dry. The case seems it will absorb a lot of the water and prevent ingress into your optics, but it will absolutely soak through in less than a minute. The case comes with a small aluminum karabiner clip that feels really flimsy, but should be just fine for carrying this case with your binoculars inside. I carry mine in a fanny pack so I removed the karabiner. Time will tell how this case holds up but it should do great for protecting my optics from dust and moisture as it rides inside of my kit.
