Product stayed adhered to the ceiling for less than a day before they started to fall off. Tried sticking them back on but they just kept coming down. Finally decided to just take them down and then they decided they wanted to stick and left a residue on the ceiling that I cannot get off. Do not put these on any type of textured ceiling or at all!

These 2” thick wedge shaped foam acoustic panels come shrink wrapped and vacuum packed to the max.I would highly recommend that you open them a day or two before at least, so that they have time to unpack. You don’t want to mount them before they do or the adhesive will not work as well on some surfaces.Be sure to clean the wall or other surface that you are mounting them to really well. A porous surface is not going to work well for these.Once they have returned to the original size and shape and you have the wall cleaned, it is as easy as peel and stick. Make sure you have already figure out where they are going before you stick them, because you are not likely to be able to adjust the position without ripping them or otherwise losing their ability to stick (depending upon how well they stuck in the first place).My biggest problem with these is that they are not very dense. They don’t do a whole lot. They will, however, remove some of the reverberation and dampen some of the high end transients.

It’s ok (not great) for sound muffling but the sticky part in the back is not great.*Update: After my review the seller reached out and offered to make it right. I bumped one star up due to their pro-active efforts to improve the customer experience.

After reading reviews on many sound insulating foam tiles it seems that they all had pluses and minuses. Complaints about failure to expand, quality control, effectiveness, glue, etc. So in the end I picked this product due to low cost for a 2inch 24 pack and it didn't seem any worse than others in reviews. As noted in many brands of foam tiles, the 24 pack tiles come highly compressed in a plastic bag. Each tile is pancake flat and sandwiched on top of each other. But I was pleasantly surprised that when I opened the pack they all started inflating and within 5-10 mins all tiles were puffed up and good to go. No rinsing, dryer, etc. I am using them in an office environment glass cubicle to reduce noise from a noisy neighbor. Peeling off the backing to expose the glue was easy and they applied to the glass without problems. I will say that the glue, while fine for my application on glass, might not work on other surfaces such as dry wall because the glue isn't the strongest. It's stickier than a post it note - but not by much. But for me it's fine and allowed me to peel the foam tile off the glass and reapply it if I didn't get it lined up just right the first time. It's been 48 hours and all tiles are still sticking fine. I've also really enjoyed the extra sound reduction. All in all a great product for my needs and I'm very happy with the product and results.

I wasn't expecting much from the price, but after 5 years of my neighbor waking me up from 5am-7am and from 10pm-1am, I had to try something. He recently started blasting music, so I was at my wit's end. These work to muffle his door slams, stomping feet, coughing, yelling for his cats at all hours, and weird tapping sounds near my bedroom window. So I'm very grateful for that. I've been getting much better sleep since placing these on my wall & window. It took two sets to cover one small wall. I then covered everything with a heavy curtain and keep a white noise machine by my pillow, just in case I need it.I'm also not hearing the nearby train horn or traffic sounds anymore.They don't work (and neither does white/brown noise) when the neighbor blasts his radio, but since he blasted it at 630am the morning after I installed these I was able to file a complaint that also stopped his usual 8am music blasting. Lucky me.They were very easy to apply and easy to cut when needed. The glue smell went away after a day. I'm happy with this purchase even if it only dampens the sounds. I haven't slept this well in a long time.

Moin hier ein paar Tipps zum anbringen der Akustik Platten.Platten sortieren, 2 verschiedene Muster.Legt euch ein paar Platten auf den Boden und erstellt ein Muster, wie ihr sie später an die Wand kleben würdet.Mit einer Wasserwaage eine Grundlinie anzeichen.Platten kleben von unten nach oben.Wichtig! die Rückseite der Platten mit einem Fön erhitzen, der Kleber wird weicher, verklebte Kanten richten sich wieder gerade und die Platte dehnt sich vollständig aus. Platten auf Stoß kleben und ordentlich andrücken. Alles andere ist try and Error :)

Great customer service.They do smell out of the box. 4 or 5 pnls did not decompress so soaked them all in water and into the dryer on low heat. Worked well and got rid of the smell too. Haven't got them set up yet to see about sound dampening success or failure. In all the drying process I misplaced one and couldn't find it so thought I was short-changed one pnl. Reached out to customer service and they offered a refund, which was a nice gesture but not needed as it finally turned up.

Better than most for vocal and decent price when I got them, Imma invest in a bigger pack next time, the folds in the middle should break up some unwanted reverb, mite want to start here like myself then add panels and traps later
