Very satisfied. This piece is solid, dimensions are as close to the original it replaces, and the screws that come with it are proper in both length and girth. The holes are spaced perfectly at 31.5mm (within the margin of error for the original 1.25in~31.75mm).No, my bass isn't a Fender, but I wanted to keep the spirit of this vintage-styled P-bass I've been customizing similar, easy to swap, and possibly to further customize without drilling a bunch of new holes.Here are the best measurements I can give, gathered from the original Fender plastic (may vary on generation or age) and this Hipshot (L x W x H) :Fender black hollow plastic:6.5 x 1.35 x 1.18 cm (2.5in long)3.175 bore spacing (1.25 in)Hipshot brass plated with chrome:6.45 x 1.1 x 1.1 cm3.15 cm bore spacingThe included screws are a bit thicker than the original pick guard screws (one of which it replaces), and a bit deeper to accommodate the hefty addition, so I used a 3/32 drill bit marked with black tape to a 1/2 inch depth, to drill out the existing hole and make the new hole, measured flush with the pick guard (0.5in is how long the new screw protrudes from the base of the Hipshot when seated, minus the very tip of the pointed end, to ensure a good hold for the screw without any splitting, heavy resistance when hand tightening, or going too deep into the body of my bass).

Love how this looks and feels on my 50s road worn. Very heavy and substantial. Well made. I definitely prefer it to the stock thumb rest, especially after putting ashtrays back on the bass.

Needed a chrome thumb rest to go with the chrome accents on my bass. It was a bit pricey, but does exactly want I wanted and needed it to do

I love this thumb rest. You really can feel the difference, she’s solid and doesn’t feel flimsy. Plus it matches the overall aesthetic of the bass I was going for.

This thumb rest came in much faster than projected and it is great. Packaged well and in perfect shape complete with the mounting screws. It is also longer than I expected giving me more versatility on where I can place my hand. The look is great because it blends with the chrome hardware without standing out too much. Very pleased. If I get another bass I hope to be able to get another one.

I'm using mine as a thumb rest and not a tug bar (top vs lower) and it's exactly what I was looking for. Feels really good under my thumb.

Very nice and much classier than the cheapo plastic ones. I wish I could have found a good diagram for mounting one though. The Fender web site has one close enough to have given me a pretty good idea. I'm putting them on all three of my basses.
