I love this little saw. It is just as powerful as a gas powered chainsaw, but smaller. It cuts through pine and willow quickly. The 1st day I used it hard for 2 hours on one charge. You do have to tighten the blade and the cover during the 1st hour of use. It also uses about 1 reservoir of bar oil each hour. That's fine with me. This saw makes big jobs quick and easy. I cleared alot of land my 1st day and I'm a 64 year old woman. Best purchases EVER!!!

I would have rated higher but this saw has a couple minor issues. First the good things. This is a very powerful 8" pole saw and has probably the best reach among its competitors because of the available extensions. the 40 volt battery provides a much longer cutting time than the typical 20V ones. It's easy to assemble and well put together. The only issues I've experienced is the chain gets loose after 5-6 cuts or so. It's not hard to tighten but it takes extra time to lower the saw, remove the battery, tighten, then proceed on. If you don't keep it tightened, it has a tendency for the chain to come off the bar track which then requires removing the housing plate to get it back on. Finally, due to the large 40 volt battery, it's heavier than the pole saws with smaller ones so you could fatigue a lot sooner especially since your holding this thing chest high into the air. It costs more than some of the others but the quality of this tool is worth the price in my estimation...you get what you pay for.

I have never heard of this brand before it has the power of a gas run saw it has a Oregon chain some might think it is too heavy I like that it can reach with the extension attached 10 feet. The battery didn't come charged the introductions stated it takes 60 minutes and true to instructions it was fully charged and ready to go. It has an onboard tank for bar oil which an automatic oilier. I cut into a 6" limb no trouble at all. I ordered an extra chain and Oregon bar oil.

Like the product works fine other than pulling apart plastic plug came loose and wires were ripped out. Those wire nuts arent enough to hold had to put some wire connectors on to reconnect. Was a challenge to put back together, got it though works fine like it did.

A great tool to have when hanging tree stands. The battery life is very , very good as it the power this little saw has. I have also used it around home with great results. It will cut a 6 inch oak limb down with no problem, just get it in place and let it do it’s work. Everyone who has came in contact with this little saw has been very impressed with it and at least 3 of my hunting buddies have purchased one for themselves after seeing mine in action. Enough said

Saw works great. Good power and cuts branches very well. Great battery life and quick charging time. When trimming tree branches in my yard and for my deer hunting tree stands, this pole saw work great and saves a love of work as compared to a manual pole saw. The only negative comment is that the oil tank leaks a bit when the saw is stored.

This is an excellent saw. Yes the first 2 or 3 times I used it I had to tighten the chain after that it remained tight. . I made sure the chain oil reservoir was full prior to using each day. It did leak a few drops of chain oil when stored. It cut everything from small brush stems to 5 + inch oak branches. I don't really know exactly how long I actually ran the saw per day. However it was out with me for over 3 hours of work daily for about 9 days and it never ran out of battery life while I was working. I recharged it fully in less than 25 minutes. I wish they would make a similar cordless chain saw.or a shorter pole so I could actually use it as a small chain saw. I'd buy it! Expensive but well worth the money.Update Last weekend: June 17, 2017, I used the saw almost continuously for over 90 minutes, in 90+ degree heat. The battery ran down but charged in about 1 hour. Previously I purchased a spare Hooyman chain. It took a while for deliver & I thought rather expensive. I called Oregon & after doing some research they said that an Oregon R 33, 8" chain would fit. I bought it. Almost $ 10 cheaper & faster delivery. Although I have used that chain yet. I really like this saw. By the way I also have the 10' extendable Hooyman saw. It works fine also especially for cutting light brush near my hunting stands.

A little expensive but I'm a believer in "you get what you pay for." Had a chance to use the saw and it held up and worked great. I didn't have the problem with the chain coming off the bar like in other saw reviews I read when I was researching before I bought. Overall I'd say it's a great product by a great company.
