The fabric-covered metal guide catches repeatedly when trying to thread the neck of the instrument.When adjusting how the metal guide is positioned within the fabric, the metal tore/poked through the fabric the first day I used it. I will continue to work with it in hopes of getting it right, but first impressions aren’t great.

This is perfect for drying out the mouthpiece of my alto saxaphone. Would definitely recommend.

This swab works very well for cleaning my alto saxophone neck and wiping the joint. It is easy to thread through because it has a bent portion of the cord. It is very absorbent microfiber. Excellent construction, so I expect it will last for years. There are less expensive swabs, but I don't know how they compare to this one.

Absolutely a must for cleaning the neck and mouthpiece of my tenor saxophone. I have one for each of my saxophones, they are durable, absorb well. The stiff rope end pushes well through my saxophone necks and mouthpieces. When they get a little dirty, I throw them into the laundry and they clean up well.

It's important to always dry your horn, and BG swabs are the best for that.

This company makes high quality accessories, such as this saxophone neck-cleaning cloth. It's a simple item, but well constructed of quality cloth with a pull handle that is well attached. According to long-time owners, they can be washed and used indefinitely.

I had been using the one that came with a kit and wasn't thrilled with it as it did not remove all of the moisture from inside my saxophone's neck. This one does the trick and does it very well. Seems to dry very quickly as well.
