Needed a laptop for my small business ad since we use chromebooks at te school I reach at this was an easy choice. The price was right for what I bought and I am very pleased with its performance. Was totally sold on the color but happy with it now. Helps my husband keep from using mine instead of his.

I love my HP 14 in Chromebook octopus. Performance is great this. The speed, the battery life, the weight, and the versatility is all great. I bought my Chromebook laptop on Christmas 2 years ago and it's still going. I love HP products and I've never had any major problems with them.

Well priced, easy setup & solid feeling laptop. I had purchased another HP laptop and was having a really hard time setting it up & navigating to what I needed. I went ahead and purchased this HP Chromebook just to see if it was easier to use & setup & it was a breeze!! Was able to log into my Google account and transfer all of my desktop/startup info, all my tabs & of course, my Google email as well as all of my Google drive & docs. I am extremely pleased with my purchase. Returning the other laptop & will probably buy another one of these for my husband, as he is currently working on one that is over 10 years old!

I am accustomed to using Mac products so this is my first ever experience with a chrome book. It’s really not awful, it took me awhile to get accustomed to using it. It does almost everything that I need to do. I just wanted something basic where I could throw it in the car and now stress about breaking it. I basically surf the internet, pay bills, and do basic work zoom calls. It does what I need it to do. Sometimes the tasks takes me longer if I doing something more complicated just because I’m learning a non-Mac platform. The touch screen feature is nice and the volume on it is loud. Seems to be good quality for a very low price.

The material that the screen was made out of felt very soft and was somewhat malleable - so it got easily scratched. To resolve this issue, just simply buy a screen protector. Other than that, the quality of the chromebook was average. However, I would say that the screen resolution was better than my previous chromebook, though I doubt that says much as it was years old.Another issue for me, is that this computer is only compatible with a passive stylus. These type of styli do not perform as well as active styli do. As someone who uses a stylus a lot for school work, it proved to be quite annoying to me. So if that is an issue for you, I would recommend finding a chromebook compatible with an active stylus.The final straw for me was when (mind you after just a few weeks of having just bought it) the computer started opening random tabs uncontrollably. It made it so difficult to control it to where I had to spend some time just trying to close out the chromebook. Also, when watching Hulu, or other streaming services, it started skipping through the video. I reckon that this issue is uncommon but I figured I should mention it as it motivated me into returning it.Anyway, I hope this review helped you in some way.

This Chromebook is exactly as promised. I was told it may arrive after Christmas but I was pleasantly surprised to get it beforehand.

I know it's not very expensive, but I expected the screen to be of sensible quality. Viewing angle is non-existing (which may be good for security, as noone will see athing if they are not looking at it at exactly 90 degrees), colours are not bright, it is dim, there is some tint not pleasant to an eye, so broadly speaking you won't use it for films or anything really but reading text.Even when you look at it at 90° angle the picture on the sides is fading, it is that bad...Other that that it's ok.
