Printer had been used, print heads clogged, had to return; very inconvenient and questionable ethically.I will buy elsewhere in the future.

I'm very satisfied with this printer. It had a great price and works perfectly. I never had a paper jam, it's fast, great quality of print. I'm happy about it and would buy it again.

It was hard installing it. The black ink would not install. We had to up date it which the instructions did not tell us to do that. Once we did it started working.

I don't print things often but when I do it makes beautiful clear copies. This is a printer only so will not scan or copy. Made the mistake of not reading the details.

I bought this renewed printer to replace my HP 8610, which I bought since it took the largest, lowest cost reman (remanufactured, third-party) cartridges (five 951XL for about $15), but which finally stopped, complaining about various cartridges (perhaps related to the HP scandal preventing use of third-party cartridges, even via a "time-bomb).The 8210 was bought from Amazon at the end of August 2022 and was working fine (with reman 952XL & 952 cartridges that cost about $25 for a set of all 4) UNTIL about 4 days ago (just after the 90 day return window passed) until a 8210 "Update required" appeared, "“Update required” appeared: "A problem has occurred with one the printer's critical system file."." After that notice appeared but was not installed (since it could not be) the screen locked up and the printer is not even detected in Windows (W/11, 64 bit) anyplace, or under Linux Mint either, nor on another PC, via USB or Ethernet or wireless, despite full resets, uninstalls and reboots, though my other printers are detected. All that is shown in Windows is "firmware device" which is all the 8210 HP ID's as now. HP Print and Scan doctor also cannot detect it.Thus the update cannot be installed.Another user said HP's response to this issue was that to those with the same issue out of warranty, the solution offered by HP is “sorry the printer can’t receive the update to fix the issue, your solution is to buy a new one.”My issue may be related to what was unknown to me when I bought it and let Windows install it, is what is shown when installing the HP Full_Webpack-38.10.2004-OJ8210_Full_Webpack.exe,"Please note that this printer uses dynamic security measures to block cartridges using a non-HP chip, and periodic firmware updates will maintain the effectiveness of these measures and block cartridges that previously worked. The printer is intended to work only with new or reused cartridges that have a new or reused HP chip."However, after posting on HP's community portal with no response, having been a frequent Amazon customer I finally contacted them, who promptly responded via an actual human agent, and who tried to get HP to cover a replacement, and also tried to contact the actual Amazon seller, all to no avail, but was able to set up a refund once I send the printer back. Thank God for such gracious service.I intend to but another printer off Amazon, however, if it is HP, I would advise reading the EULA carefully and avoid those with dynamic security measures if you want to use reman carts. Before I buy HP I will look into HP Instant Ink . Note also though that you cannot remove the genuine HP carts that come with the printer and replace them with remans until the HP carts run out. Thus perhaps you either must sign up for instant ink while you have the HP carts installed, or you must purchased new ones it seems after they run out. Maybe after remans run out you can put the expired HP carts back in. Since I still have remans left over then that is what I would want to do if I was going to sign up for Instant ink.Edit. After I posted some of the above on a You tube video then HP support contacted thru it, and as a result I was able finally talk to a agent (ask the bot for one), who actually used my computer 9via my consent) to try to get the 8210 working, to no avail, but said that since it was somehow under the 90 day warranty then they would be replacing it with another "renewed" one. So if they do then I will not be sending the printer back to Amazon for a refund, but will be sending it back to HP in the same box the new/used one came in.Which is better, since Amazon should not have to pay for HP's issues. But i have not heard from HP yet.

I got this “renewed” from amazon. The printer seems great but I’m not impressed with whatever process Amazon has in place for renewing. I assumed they would trouble shoot or at least examine the product, but when I pulled it out of the box it was unsealed, out of colored ink, and stuffed so full of photo paper it was jammed all up.Once I cleared out all the paper jammed in it, I had to do a factory reset, and now it works like a charm.
