I have had this now for four months, and must I have really enjoyed it so far! I purchased this instrument as a complete novice with no prior experience playing music in the first place. It arrived in a timely manner and in good sturdy packaging. I was skeptical about having an instrument shipped through the mail, but all was in order and good condition upon opening it.Out of the box I was able to use the provided tuner to get set up and started strumming within 5-10 minutes. Please take note that new strings on a ukulele take quite some time to settle/break in so expect to do a lot of tuning especially when returning after not playing for a day or two. Playing this ukulele has been enjoyable, I have appreciated the low-ish action and nice fretboard and after a few YouTube videos and some late night hours practicing I can keep up with several of my favorite acoustic songs strumming along. I did notice that when strumming with a good amount of force there would be a little bit of buzzing on the C and A string. Upon further inspection I did notice that the locking nuts that hold the tuners in the headstock had come loose a bit, with a quick tighten I was back in business no buzzing at all.Regarding the included accessories and goodies I would recommend getting a different strap upon ordering. It is very cheaply made and meant to be just something to get you going. The strings that come on it are alright, but I did swap them out for some Aquila Nylgut strings on a recommendation from a local shop owner. WHAT A DIFFERENCE I would order a set ($7-$10) when ordering your own and swap them immediately. The bag that comes with it is your standard fare and nothing to write home about. All in all I am 100% satisfied with my order and would purchase from this manufacture again without any worry. I am currently in the market for a tenor ukulele and have been very shocked to see how many "brand name" instruments at higher price points have such lesser make and finish quality than this little uke (Looking at you Kala). At this price point you can't go wrong for a beginner instrument.

First of all, the thing is just beautiful!!! I got the Koa glossy version. Just gorgeous workmanship. So tiny and adorable!! I am a guitarist, but I've never dealt with an instrument with nylon strings before. I noticed immediately that it takes a bit to tune it. You have to tune it, then re-tune it, then re-tune it, etc..., until it is finally in tune. Once in tune, it gives you that classical Ukelele sound. I suspect that it will take a while before the strings are stretched enough to stay in tune for extended periods. That's fine, because you should always tune your instrument before you play it anyway. I think that is just the way nylon strings are. It is a pure joy to play. Learn a few chords, and just strum away. I highly recommend this little Ukelele. Nice little instrument, and you can't beat the price!!

This is a good ukulele for the money. It has a good sound, nice finish, it's all put together really well. It comes with extras, I mostly appreciated the tuner as a bonus. Yes I am happy I bought, I don't think anyone else in the house could say the same...I love to play but apparently I'm not very good.

This Hricane Spalted Maple Ukulele is truly unique. The wood grain on this thing is amazing, so amazing that it almost looks fake, but I don’t care because it looks incredible. My son is starting to learn Ukulele at school so I got him this one since he also loved the look of it, and the school ones are the usual boring looking Ukes you see everywhere.I am really surprised at how good it sounds and the quality of the instrument in general. The fretwork, finish, binding, nut, saddle, they are all flawless. The setup is great out of the box with the action being around 0.9mm at the nut and 2.5mm at the 12th. I do my own setups on guitars so naturally I had to do it here, just because I can, to 0.4mm at the nut and 2mm at the 12th. This really wasn’t needed as it played great as is, but now it’s just ridiculously easy to play and still no buzzing. The price may be a little higher than some other Concert Ukuleles but if you like the look of this one, it’s pretty hard to beat. I, for one, did not want a boring looking Uke, and I’m glad my son didn’t either. The case is actually great too and getting a tuner and all the other accessories with it just adds to the value.

I am a high school teacher of 30+ years and for the first time ever am facilitating several independent studies classes. One young man selected the music industry careers as his topic for the semester. I asked if he played an instrument and his response of "no, but I want to" started a group quest to find what might work for him. Fairly soon I was working with half a dozen students wanting to try the Ukulele. One of the young men said he know someone who could play and would ask him to come to teach some of the basics. He agreed and the quest for instruments began. After several days of research, begging family and friends to help, we finally received a couple of classroom instruments. One teacher, six students, and 2 ukuleles make learning next to impossible. One of the girls told me she found the ukulele she was going to get for class. Her eagerness to share the find caused me to slow down and take a look. She had actually found a ukulele that was not too expensive and looked a lot better than the "toy" ones she first wanted. I agreed to order it for her and she could pay me back in installments. Fast-forward to now, I also learned that the young man who was teaching us had a bumper sticker on the back of his ukulele that covered the rather large crack which happened when he either dropped it or his sister sat on it. He liked the Tenor size because of his "sausage fingers" and the sound, so I ordered THIS Ranch Tenor with him in mind.I wish I would have recorded his first reaction to this Ukulele. He was very surprised to find out how much I paid and kept reinforcing his Hawaiian ukulele was three times that amount. HE LOVED THE SATIN FINISH because he has sweaty hands and the high gloss varnish causes a slippery grip. His praise of the Ranch ukulele has not stopped since the first day I let him play it. Ukulele fever is spreading and I believe we have found one of the BEST Beginner Ukuleles Amazon has to offer.Hope the videos convey the quality in construction, the sound, and the fun of play.

It is very much worth it. It arrived the day after we ordered it. It has good quality and all the freebies are all included and complete. Included in the package is the box with the case; inside it is the concert ukulele (same as in the photo in the description) under the ukulele are the freebies: Pouch, cleaning cloth, extra strings, pick, strap, and clip-on tuner with battery included (the tuner is good and could be used with other instruments).
