The aluminum reinforced spout bushing keeps spout tip round and acts as a captive fastener to prevent tip-end sensor damage. This model comes equipped with a unique Flow-Stop device that shuts off the nozzle if it falls from the fill tank or raises above the horizontal. I use this on my 175 gal farm tank with a hand pump. I just set the handle to on with the standard "hold open clip" and start cranking. When the tank is full it clicks off just like at a gas pump at a station. I use it with diesel fuel and it feels just like the nozzles at the station. Happy with the purchase but I've only used it a few times. If there are problems, I'll post an update.
