I love this bottles concept, in practice it's less than perfect but it still works.Basically you pour water into the bottle to the "max" line, turn it sideways into the tray, then freeze it. Once frozen, pour in water into the bottle then ta-dah, you have a ice water bottle without having to touch any ice from the ice tray!Though the benefits sounds great, this current iteration of this products idea is not perfect. The bottle is divided into two parts, one side is the tray, one side is clear plastic. Connect the two pieces and boom you have a bottle. The two actually falls apart quite easily, so to keep them intact the bottle comes included with a band that squeezes the two pieces together to help keep it together. It's honestly not a great solution, but it seems to be working. I'd honestly prefer some sort of clamp to keep the two together. Though the bottle works as advertised, it builds up a lot of condensation. Now I'm not sure if the bottle is leaking or if it's condensation build up, but I'm definitely leaning towards it's a leak mostly because the bottle is joined relatively loosely.Overall, I wish I could give this bottle 5 stars because I love the idea soich, but again in practice there needs to be improvements. A new design to join the two parts, tighter ban or replace with a clamp, eliminate leaks and reduce condensation. I'd still recommend it if you don't have access to an ice maker or if you just really love cold drinks, otherwise you might want to wait for version two if and when that ever comes out.

I regret owning this item, and now I feel guilt that it is in the land fill. The ice cubes are tiny, hard to dislodge, and the unit leaks.

This item ... not for me. It was constructed of nice heavy-duty plastic, but when "filling" the water so that you can make ice with it, you don't really know how much water to fill so you end up having to pour out water multiple times to get just the right amount to cover the cubes inside. Next, after it was frozen the silicon "pusher" on the outside of the back of the bottle didn't work well to push the cubes out instead a huge "chunk" of ice all in one came out. It's ice, but not what I was expecting. The elastic band that you put around the bottle fits very snugly making me think it needs that extra support to stop it from leaking. It came with a very long straw which was nice but there is no way to keep it with the water bottle, so you end up dropping it or losing it. Just too complicated for "ice water" for me. Wouldn't purchase again or buy as a gift.

This looked like a great gadget when I saw it, but it misses the mark for me. First of all, the ice cubes are so tiny they will melt if you don't put something already cold in it. Then there is the bulky size of it, makes it uncomfortable to hold. Lastly, the stretchy band included to hold the two containers together is just too tight to get it on. I ended up using a regular rubber band because it was too difficult. I think they could have made a latch or something other than a stretch band to work much better and easier.

This is a really neat bottle. I filled it just enough to fill the ice tray and put it the freezer for 2 hours. Then I pushed the back of it and the ice cubes popped out. Then filled it with water and it was good to go. Great for sports!
