I need to add a new compression connection at my copper water line that was old and leaking. You might need a copper line cutting tool to remove an old connection, be aware of that. This did the job perfectly!

Package came with 2 connectors. Used both and both leaked. Internal brass donut warps no matter how gentle you tighten it. Went to local hardware store bought similar unit for same price and worked perfectly.

I was replacing the older copper water line to the frig with poly.I have not used it yet because I heard that I needed to add the metal insert inside the tubing to prevent it from collapsing. Now that I look at other packages I see that some come with this insert. I now assume the part I ordered was for copper line only?
