These are perfect no nails or screwdriver required. Just a hammer to tap it in lightly behind the molding.

The brackets fit as described. Just a few taps with a hammer to get the points behind the trim. Worked so much easier & cleaner than drilling holes in newly patched & painted walls. Curtain rods clicked into place & curtains were up in no time.NOTE: the brackets did "bite" into the trim face a little -- the trim is a little thicker than some. But, brackets cover the marks.Am happy to have discovered these "gadgets" -- I'll buy more in the future, if needed.

At first I was a little skeptical about purchasing the "Instant Holders - Curtain Rod Brackets" but as it turns out they were great and looks nice, no holes in my woodwork or in my walls - I have a room with seven windowes and it was a perfict solution for me, east to install, no drilling or hammering nails. Will definitely purchas again as I have lots of windows in my new house,

The external measurement is only 5/8", so there is no way these hangers can be used on 3/4" moulding even with the suggested adjustments. The would be convenient and appear to be well made but only for thin trims.

These brackets have to be the worst idea. Hard to get on corners where casing is close to wall. They marked up my new window casings, had to repair and touch up paint. I ended up installing the old curtain brackets, look better and sturdy. I also did not like the silver bracket showing on corner, as curtains would not cover.

I think alot of the negative reviews are from those that have multiple layers of wall and/or window trim paint that is ‘bridging the gap’ between the trim and the wall. These hangers have protrusions or spikes that need to fit in that gap. It was easy enough to take a sharp razor blade and cut the paint away and these fit great and work as you would expect. My only complaint is that the part that the curtain rod hangs on swivels, or at least mine do. Just wish the rivets were tighter but once the curtains are hung there is not an issue.

This is a great idea. It fits over regular window trim molding. BUT you have to use 2 rods for it to work. I know it is a 2 rod hanger, but you don't have to use both. If you only have 1 rod to hang at the moment, you cannot use this because the hanger part swivels/rotates and then the rod falls off. Good idea but if the rod hanger part didn't swivel it would be great. You could try to modify it since it is light weight but for me it wasn't worth the effort.UPDATE: I purchased this again and was going to use these on another window and use 2 curtain rods. THEY WILL NOT FIT! My trim is less than 3/4" but this doesn't even measure 3/4". It is closer to 5/8". It is going back.

These really don't work very well. My molding seems the correct size for these, but I still had to hammer them in place (to get them behind the molding). And if you bump into the curtains, the whole thing comes down. Also, the hooks on the front rotate all the way around, so it's very difficult to get the rods hung -- and to keep them there. They also only seem to hold the weight of sheers. I tried hanging my lightweight curtains, and it didn't work. It's a good thing I am just using these temporarily.
