I tried six or seven other brands before finally finding this. Fit right the first time with no need for teflon tape. Pro tip: to get the retaining ring to stay in place on a Caddis, just stretch it gently in your hands until it will seat completely, then put a dab of Gorilla glue underneath at two or three points (in case you need to remove it later) and presto!

There was no way to determine that the valve was the correct size based on the item description. Unfortunately it was the wrong thread size.

The valves are a perfect fit for my 2 FishCat4's. This is the only valve on Amazon that does. All the others on offer are for 20mm threads. These are the 23mm threads that are a fit for the Cats. The 20mm ones seem to fit the last couple of threads if they are screwed in extremely tight but I am suspicious that they might pop loose under pressure.
