SADLY THIS ITEM I REVIEWED IS NO LONGER THE DISPLAYED ITEM - SO AM FLAGGING THIS AND LOWERING TO ONE STARITEM I REVIEWED WAS GLAZED SILVERY GREY AS IN ANOTHER REVIEWERS VIDEOI had a few issues with delivery. I feel Amazon saw me right in the end.I am so glad I hung in there and got this as now there are none left + after eating my first meal from this I wanted a second one!It is simple to use and very versatile. I have been cooking with this mostly over a low gas flame. I have also used it in my Panasonic combo-microwave too !It has made the loveliest tasting meals. I do not need to add oil or fat. I feel healthier from the meals I have cooked with this. I find it relatively easy to clean. So I am very happy with this Donabe and give 5/5. I only wish it was a nicer colour.UPDATED JULY 2024: Still finding it wonderful to use - and I think healthier than an airfryer.

I cooked carrots, sweet potatoes, zucchini onions, tomatoes with Moroccan spices and they came out soon sweet. I did not add any sweetness, just some sea salt with spice mixture. It's true that the vegetable's flavors get concentrated due to not requiring much water in cooking when you're using this pot. I love the color and the look of the pot, too. I also think the quality of this pot is superior to other pots. Things made in Japan are very good quality and trustworthy in general.
