These affordable rails are pretty simple and lightweight compared to the big industrial data-center racks. But that's why I got them. I just want to put together a simple mini half-rack to hold a few Raspberry Pi's and some prototype boards. The kit even comes with a few extra screws: 4 wood screws, and a handful of M5 rack-mount screws. My other rack uses 10-32 size threads but close enough for rough prototype purposes.

Perfect rack rails. Quality coating. Plenty of screws. Perfect for a rack build for my music production desk

These brackets, wood, glue, is all you need to make your own rack mount cabinets, etc. I purchased two sets to build computer monitor stands that will contain a few 1U rack mount devices. I should have purchased the 4U brackets, but that's another story. Comes with the brackets, mounting screws (too long for 3/4 sides), and plenty of the rack mount screws. Works great, decent price.

Bohrungen mit Gewinde sehr ungenau die Farbe ist total billig. Schrauben sind die schlechteste Metall-Ausführung die es gibt.

Used these to clean up the sound booth at our church, used some 20/20 aluminum extrusion to mount them to and it holds the amps

I've purchased rack rails for years and have never before encountered such a flimsy product. They are constructed of an extremely lightweight steel. Although they are likely adequate for moderate loads, a major concern would be the threaded holes. I doubt that there would be more than one full thread of engagement of the rack screws with the rails. Mechanical design principles specify that the minimum engagement should be three threads. In addition to the rails the supplied rack screws are not provided with nylon washers. Mounting equipment without the use of a plastic washer is instant rack rash on the unit front panel around the mounting holes.

These are rubbish, i have installed these into a standard 19” rack housing however they are not as wide as they should be in order to fit 19” units onto them. Should also point out that they use screws included to fix items onto them and as such standard rack nuts and bolts do not fit. These are not much use for anything besides recycle

The drill pattern is pretty bad... They did not line up with the screw alignments on my devices... This worked out ok for how I am using it, but if it was going to be in a mobile rack, I would have returned them. Other than that, they are heavy duty and worth the money, but I would not use these for a Road Rack.

To anyone reading the other reviews leaving negative comments, ignore those. These are easily more than adequate for any equipment being rack mounted. The steel is perfectly thick enough and not flimsy in the slightest. As for the holes not being pre-threaded, that is why it is supplied with self tapping screws. An if they are not good enough you could always "tap n die" the holes already drilled out, to give them a thread.10/10
