Okay, so I was looking for an inexpensive alternative to the name brand Souper Cubes, and while these may not be as large, they hold a half cup per compartment. Once frozen, one dozen will fit in a standard gallon bag easily. The embedded metal rim is AWESOME, they are easy to move from counter to freezer without slopping over or collapsing and easier to clean with this rigid edge. The lids are a perfect fit and eliminate the need for plastic wrap to protect the contents in the freezer. They held up to being filled with simmer-warm bone broth, and were easy to dislodge the frozen cubes the next day. They stacked nicely in the freezer, which I credit the metal rim and those snug lids, for this ease of storage. They cleaned up in a snap- I did wash them by hand because of previous experiences with silicone taking on the smell and flavor of dishwasher soap when washed in that fashion. Terrific product, very pleased with my purchase!

Love these cubes. The silicone well makes it so easy to pop just one cube out. No twisting tray to remove the ice. The large cube of ice last all day in my insulated cup.

Great quality product that performs better than my silicone mold with no metal skeleton rim for leakage. Easy to push out the cubes. Nice 2” cubes, great value for the 3 pack.

I have had different types of ice cube trays and these are the best. I love the wire frame, it’s a game changer! It makes it so much easier to get the ice cube out and easier to fill. Would I buy them again? I have 😂.

These make nice cubes but seem a bit fragile and wobbly when putting them in the freezer. Once frozen they release the cubes well.The picture shows my first attempt at making the cubes using filtered, boiled water.

I bought these for my mom who is an ice fanatic. These are great because they don't take up much room in the freezer. They're great quality and easy to use as well, no ice gets broke or stuck like plastic containers. Definitely worth the money!

I might have a little addiction to cubed silicone holders.So yes, obviously they are great for ice, but I also love them for leftover sauces, broth ect. It makes meal prep for work so easy. I’ll make extra, freeze into cubes, and transfers into a freezer bag or seal for longer storage. Come meal prep or fast dinners, it’s super simple to pop em out, heat em up and done like dinner.This size is great for freezing hummus, so other small amounts of sauces.As for being wibbly wobbly, I look for size appropriate Styrofoam trays from meat or baked goods, and reuse those, works like a charm.It’s hard to find ones that come with lids, so these are great. And you just cant’ beat how easy it is getting frozen items out of silicone, compared to old fashioned twist plastic ice cube trays. Love em! Easy to use, and good quality.

These ice cube trays are good balance between rigidity and size of the ice cubes that they make. I have larger silicon ice cube trays that flex when filled with water. These two inch big silicon ice trays are a good balance of rigidity when the ice is not completely set in the ice trays. They can be stacked on top of each other without compressing the bottom ice cube tray. They all have covers in order to be able to stack on top of each other. Even when all three trays are stacked, the space footprint is minimal in the freezer.

Apart from the softness of the tray, I like pretty much everything about this.When putting into the freezer, make sure you have good flat support beneath it to prevent spilling.The cover snaps on and off easily and keeps most of the water in.Make sure not to fill it right to the top to allow for it to expand during freezing.
