Leather Furniture Treatment No. 5

Furniture Treatment No. 5 is a natural, water-based blend of rich cleaning and conditioning ingredients designed to protect, nourish and restore your leather furniture. Formula No. 5 contains earth conscious, rich, natural emollients, handpicked to beautify leather furniture and upholstery, and increase its lifespan. This gentle and pleasantly scented recipe may be used as often as desired to clean, condition and refresh leather furniture items such as sofas, couches, love seats, ottomans, and chairs.

Optimized Leather Conditioner for Furniture and Upholstery

Luxurious Furniture Treatment No.5 is an all-natural blend of oil and nutrients specially brewed for leather furniture and upholstery. This tasteful medley is designed to complement leathers natural texture without overloading it with oils or toxic chemicals. Furniture Treatment does it all, be it beautifying your leather, putting color back in old, fading hide, or covering up scuffs and marks. This recipe is good for nearly any kind of furniture, so you can rest easy and unwind as you treat your leather.

Earth Conscious

Brewed to perfection with all-natural ingredients and an optimal pH-balanced recipe, our leather conditioners and cleaners stand out from the crowd. As you condition and clean, the recipes will tease your nose with subtle sensations. Complementing its rich, creamy consistency you can almost taste is a subtle fragrance, harkening back to the crackling embers of a warm, fiery hearth. These robust scents last only as long as the conditioner takes to absorb, and will not affect your leathers natural scents. Furniture Treatment No. 5 is earth conscious and made with cosmetic grade ingredients completely natural and safe for human skin.

Easy Application

The cream texture designed for easy application and maximum absorption, will melt into your leather products as easily as butter on hot bread. Enrich your leathers color and give it the soft, supple texture it deserves. As  absorbs and conditions, it will strengthen the fibers of your leather, making it grow stronger, and live longer.

Is Furniture Treatment No. 5 right for my leather?

Like all of Chamberlains leather conditioners, Recipe No.5 should enrich your leathers color and give it the soft, supple texture that it deserves. As this recipe absorbs and conditions, it will strengthen the fibers of your leather, making it grow stronger, and live longer. A light cleaning element permits Furniture Treatment to give your leather a gentle surface cleansing, and its protective properties give it a much-needed barrier against many household impurities, such as spills and dust. This recipe will save you countless hours of otherwise mundane, routine treatment – dont be surprised to find many blissful naps following it.

This bottle was enough for my couch and chair. Wasn’t too thick, soaked right in. Smells great like an hint of cherry, not really strong. Leather feels soft and looks better

This stuff is amazing! A favorite light colored leather purse absorbed oil through the years. Tried cleaning it with saddle soap and it was ruined. Bought this for leather car seats and a recliner and figured I'd give it try. Amazing. It evened out all the multi colored streaks and made scratches disappear. Now the purse doesn't look new and that's ok, it's not new, it's a well loved full grain leather purse rescued! The leather car seats came up really nice and so did the recliner, they all look so much cleaner. Worth the money and the elbow grease with excellent results.

I bought this to use on a leather ottoman that I have had for a few years. The conditioner that I had been using for some time is no longer sold, so I looked a long time for a replacement and settled on this one. It is easy to use, has a nice scent, and works well. It conditions the leather and adds a nice sheen. Since this ottoman has some cat scratches, I am planning to buy the scratch balm, too, and hope that it can hide some of that damage.

Our 11 year old leather furniture looks like 2 year old furniture and it's ONLY because of this product. We are dogs and cats who use the furniture as much as we do. This product smells delicious and it is a miracle worker. Remember to clean your leather before conditioning it.

I used this for an Ikea black leather Karlstad sofa that was almost a decade old and beginning to lose a bit of its luster. This Leather Milk revitalized its appearance and even gave the leather a more buttery feel to the touch. The conditioner is similar to hand lotion in appearance and consistency, just not as thick, and a little goes a long way. The sofa has a natural grain where the conditioner can build up and appear white in the cracks, but this is easily remedied by giving it an extra buffing. Unlike the Formula No. 2 cleaner which has a pleasant, raspberry soda-like fragrance, I removed one star from the No. 5 Conditioner because the scent is more perfume-like and a bit harsh and agitating to my senses, but it disappears after a day or two of being applied. Recommended!

I brought this after reading some of the other reviews, my old sofa needed a bit of T.L.C and a revamp especially after the dog has jumped all over it and the other half has spilt most of his tea on it ! I used the leather milk and hey presto it looks great, it's even made the parts of the leather that were peeling slightly almost disappear, the dog is now banished and the other half has to eat his tea at the table! A winner all round

Pros:- Nice almond scent- Easy to applyCons:- Considerably darkens full aniline leatherPrior to buying this product, I read a ton of reviews, including those of Chaimberlain's Leather Milk No. 1, Leather Honey, and Ekornes' "Hide-Bracer." I bought this product based on the strength of the other reviews, including the folks who indicated that they used it on their Ekornes leather chairs and other "glove-soft" chairs.Discussion:We have a Elite Leather product, which uses a dyed "Full Aniline" leather. Elite's site also calls it, "true aniline, naked aniline, pure aniline, unprotected, natural." Century Furniture's site on cleaning leather furniture calls it, "Pure aniline," and states, "Little is done to this hide other than to tumble it gently in an aniline dye drum." Century's site states that "Cleaning is recommended by using distilled water and suds from Neutrogena® Soap on a dampened sponge, feathering the moistened areas."Wary of using any kind of soap, I put a little bit of distilled water on a clean, 100% cotton rag, and rubbed a small patch of leather. Nothing much seemed to happen. After dabbing at it to remove the moisture, I allowed it to dry. Later that day, I put some of the Chamberlain's Leather Milk No. 5 on a full cotton rag and gently buffed at the same small leather patch, which turned to a more brown color. As I buffed, it also appeared to raise the nap of the leather.Hoping that I did not do permanent damage, I allowed it to dry for a week. Two weeks later, I can say that the nap of the leather has gone back down considerably (95%), but not to the same, smooth surface of the rest of the sofa. Moreover, while the patch lightened up a bit, it still remains darker than the rest of the sofa (not its original tangerine color). To the question: Is it "more conditioned?" I couldn't honestly tell you. Based upon this, I will not be applying this product to the rest of my poor sofa.To its credit, the back of the bottle does say not to use it on "very soft" leathers, but not knowing what that meant, I decided to give it a try. This product may work on darker colored leather furniture, but based on my results thus far, I haven't gotten the gumption to try it out on our Eames Lounger yet (although it is a black-colored leather, it's just too costly to muck around with).Bottom-Line: Based on my results, I'm not sure any leather cleaner works on Pure Aniline. Therefore, if you're okay with color change on a light-colored, "soft" leather couch, this is a product you can consider.

I bought this for use on my furniture, and based on the ratings I was quite confident it would do the job. However, I didn't think it would be quite so pleasant to use.First - no weird smell. Chamberlain's Leather Milk smells like almonds, really.Second - easy to apply. They include a little buffing pad, which I used. I poured a little on the pad, and spot tested on the back of a sofa cushion. I hate how sometimes when you use a mousse type product, it smears on one area, leaving a dark spot, and does not spread to the other areas. Chamberlains doesn't do that. It's almost like a lotion, but it gets absorbed evenly. I don't have to spend too much time rubbing it off, it just spreads around nicely.Third - saves time. Because it spreads around nicely, my sofas which used to take me an hour and a half of work is now reduced to the time it takes for me to wipe them down - about 10 minutes total.Fourth - leaves leather supple. It's like a body lotion for your leather (not a cream). Works just great for me, no spots, but the leather is supple and soft after treatment. I feel that it is less prone to scratches too, because the leather isn't brittle.Great purchase, great product. I use it everywhere now, on wallets, leather car seats, etc. Still on my first bottle but will purchase again.
