Perfect Bathroom Night Light! It comes in automatically and is bright enough that you don’t have to turn on the overhead light if you need to visit the toilet in the middle of the night. I like that you can adjust the brightness as well.

I like very much the possibility of choosing between four brightness level and even turning it off completely if I need too. This is used in a hallway near a living room where guest can sleep occasionnaly so turning it off or dimming the light a bit is very useful.

Good product, but these need lots of ambient lighting for the nightlight to actually turn off. It's not a dealbreaker, but I would prefer if the night light only came on when it was really dark. They are very aesthetically pleasing.

This works great as a night light without using up either of the outlets, 3 different light levels if it is used in a Childs room.

I really like this outlet. I installed this in a new baby's bedroom where plugs were at a premium (only three receptacles in the room excluding the switched one for a light. The install was as easy as any other outlet, and it was a higher-grade receptacle that supports back wiring (NOT backstabs, but screwed-down wiring through the back, similar to what's common in GFCIs). In a very small electrical box, the size could be a concern - it's larger than a normal receptacle but smaller than a GFCI. The night light isn't as bright as most plug-in ones are, but it's not unreasonable either. It comes with a second baffle so you can direct the light down onto the floor if you prefer. Word of warning: the design depends upon the wall plate to keep the diffuser in place. If you remove the wall plate (to paint the room, for example), there is the potential to lose the diffuser. This is a TR outlet, which is a nice touch given that it's likely to be used in a child's room given the built in nightlight. I will say, I was able to defeat the shutter with a single multimeter probe. I had to REALLY push and really work at it, but it was possible to do, which is a shame. I am not able to do the same on the TR outlets that I own from Leviton. Still, it's probably safe enough to keep a baby from accidentally getting zapped. Overall, really solid product. A couple of minor flaws to be aware of, but in general it does what it says on the package and does it well.

We bought two of these to add some night lighting to a dark back staircase. On the "medium" light setting they put out more than enough light for this purpose and we're pleased with the purchase.Notes:- The color of the light is cooler, more like a 4k LED than an incandescent- The unit has a sensor so the light will come on automatically when it gets dark (unless the unit has been manually set to "off")- The units have different light settings including "off", "ultra low", "low", "medium" and "high", which are manually changed by pressing the face of the light- These come with two different "covers" for the light; one clear plastic piece and a "grill" fixed louvers that face down. They are easily switched by sliding one off and sliding the other on.- These say "tamper resistant", which to me sometimes means 'impossible to insert a plug' but I have not found them to be difficult at allPros:- Easy to install and well made- Sleek addition of auto-on, auto-off night lighting without loss of outlets- Adjustable brightness is a nice feature- Definitely more than enough light to see your way in the darkCons:- If you're looking for a warm color light, you may not be pleased with these. There appears to be an "amber" version that may be more suitable as a nightlight: https://www.amazon.com/Legrand-Seymour-radiant-NTL885TRAMBERW-Outlets/dp/B07FMTJ8B2/ref=sr_1_2?th=1- The "grill" cover doesn't do much to direct the light, and light bleeds around the outside of it (photo attached) so I didn't find it to be a good looking option.

During our bathroom remodel, we were looking for a lighted outlet to put by our sink that retained both plug-ins and wasn't a GFCI since we already wired one in and everything ran through it. Seems something like this is kind of hard to find. This outlet suited our needs and seems to be good. I like that it comes with the option of a clear lens or a louver. Simply pressing the light changes the brightness or turns the light off completely. Good to have options.Installation was easy and it seems to work well. The light is just enough to help light up the bathroom in the middle of the night. The plug-ins are solid, but not overly tight.I really like this outlet and would recommend it.

These outlets are a night and day difference.I was initially skeptical about these outlets when I was browsing though replacements. I wasn't sure how well they would work or how well they would look once installed. These outlets really delivered on both aspects. They were absolutely easy to install. No different than changing any other common outlet. The quality of the outlet itself is great as well. The look of it once installed and powered on is fantastic. Having the option to change the intensity of light and style of light (pointed down or pointed outwards) is great. We use them at the bottom of stairs and in the bedrooms to be able to walk around safely at night without turning on any house lights. Helps keep everyone well rested and safe. Such a great investment and a super easy upgrade.

Before buying I asked the question "does this have an OFF mode?" as I wanted to use it as a reading light. (We have an outlet by our kid's bed.) It does indeed have an OFF mode... 4 brightness settings and then an OFF. And brightest is quite bright. After a couple weeks use it would not stay on. At first I thought the product somehow had an overheating sensor, or that the sensor had degraded to no longer appreciate a dark room. I asked for a replacement and promptly received one (sending original back). However, the product was NOT defective (replacement behaving the same), it was my setup that was at fault...We have an INFRARED CAMERA in the child's room, so we can monitor him from around the house. The change between a well-working night-light and constantly-turning-off night-light was whether the IR light was directed at the outlet... infrared was making the night-light think the room was too bright, and causing it to turn off.So I'm revising my review from 3-star to 5-star. I adjusted the IR camera and now it functions as a wall-outlet reading light, as it was doing before the camera had moved. However, after a couple weeks of use, it became unreliable and started operating differently. ON no longer stayed on, and OFF was sometimes difficult to cycle to.Of the 4 responses I got to my question "does this have an OFF mode?" 3 said yes and 1 said no. I now see what the 1-no-response was talking about. When not operating correctly it does appear to have no OFF mode (unless you patiently keep trying to cycle it off again and again).Do not know if it overheated, but now it only takes 2 minutes for the light to start cycling on & off and is no longer useful for reading-light purpose. And I suspect would be useless for a find-your-way nightlight too.Have ordered a replacement. Was a great product until behavior changed. I'd guess we left it ON at full brightness one morning, and maybe most people use it in a less-bright setting when they leave it on. Might be why it became "used up" or damaged or whatever.
