The Maxline 1/2-Inch tubing x 1/2-Inch Male NPT adapter fitting, features a compression fitting style to make fast and easy connections. There is no glue, soldering or crimping needed. Simply cut the tubing to length, insert in the fitting and tighten.

There are no pictures of the compression parts.Looks like this would work fine if you are not retro fitting. I have to remove the existing new angle stop valves on copper that used 5/8" compression to convert to a Toto threaded stop. The threads do not match the standard compression nut which is already on the pipe (not removable).If you are going to just a 1/2 copper pipe (5/8" outside) to 1/2" IP, this should work perfect.
