This reducer was just what I needed for a project. It should be noted that the outside diameter is the same as 3/4-inch schedule 40 pipe and fits well into a schedule 40 coupling, 90' elbow, and other fittings. If you're looking for this to go over 3/4-inch schedule 40 pipe, it not the correct fitting.

3/4 in x 1/2 in reducing bushing spigot x FNPT is not as pictured! You get the impression that the pvc pipe goes inside the bushing but you need a coupler for it to go into?Also no where as thick in the thread area as pictured.
