Very sturdy material holds those monster 50amp cables with a breeze. Easy to mount and use. I've offloaded the task of stowing cable to wife as it's no longer needed to lift the whole cable. Just poke one end in spool and wind it up. A little speendy, but not breaking my back setting up or tearing down - worth it!

I actually purchased this a year ago for my husband as one of his anniversary gifts. He let it sit until a month ago because he was concerned about bolting it to the floor and causing any future permanent damage causing issues with the integrity of the floor. He watched a YouTube video recently that made my husband feel better about it. Afterwards he said he wished he had seen the video last year. He said it works great and he wishes he would have been using it all along! Below is his description:I bolted it to a flat board with a laminate bottom, so I can move it around my storage bay. I was planning on mounting it next to the wet bay; however, I would not be able to get to the access panel of the wet bay if I needed to take it apart without removing the cord spooler. Mounting it to a board allows me to move it wherever I have room in the storage bay, and still use the spooler when needed.

I don’t typically write reviews on purchases, but this one was so worth it, I had too in hopes it might help the next guy. I have a 50ft 50 amp power cord that I’ve fought for far too long, trying to coil it up into one of those mesh bags. It has always been a hassle and I knew there was a better way to do this. I searched for something like this and came across this reel and it had the best reviews out of others similar to it. It’s a higher price than others, but the quality and ease of use are top notch. The install is simple and the functionality is even easier. If you’re looking for a better way to store your power cord, this is the product for you.

Anyone that has the 50 amp 45ft cord knows it's a pain in the a.. this is a simple 15 minute install & a simple wind the cord up should've been the first thing i got for my travel trailer !!!

I’m 70 years old and I’m amazed how easy this winds up and stores the 50 amp cord! Very well constructed, and takes a very small amount of space in my storage area, compared to not having it! I should have bought this for my 30 amp cord!

Works great, I mounted it on the my back bumper of our 5th wheel. I had a new steel bumper welded on so it’s nice and strong.

Great product -- easy install and it works. No more wrestling with the 50 A cord or having to move it out of the way just to get into the storage bay. A bit of a heavy beast tho (even without the cord), but that helps to keep it stable and in-place, I guess. Use this in a 5th wheel -- had to put it in the storage garage since it is too deep to fit in front compartment ..... perhaps should have gone with the smaller, squatter reel, but this is working out just fine. A bit pricey, but IMHO worth the expense to get that cord up and out-of-the-way.
