I used this in an emergency shut down device for an air conditioner condensation removal system. If the system should malfunction and or the pump fails to flush the system this alarm will sound to let me know when the system is off line.This all in one visual and auditable alarm made the design of the this system compact and convenient.I would recommend this item.

You can barely hear warning sound even with no other soundl. Blinking red light not continuous. Save ur money to buy other than this

These work fine. Not very loud, but serviceable if you're not trying to sound an alarm that can be heard across the street. Connection is trivial. Two screws at the base. You loosen one to insert a wire, and tighten it to crimp down on the wire and hold it in place. No need to wrap wire around a screw.Many negative ratings here don't make a lot of sense. One has pictures of a device that doesn't even look at all like this. Wish that there were a way of reporting WHY a review was faulty.
