Brackets are nice but set far from window allowing a ton of light through. They are flimsy with heavy curtains and large windows.

I replaced my single hang rod holder with this double rod holder. I did not have to replace the existing wall brackets as this new double rod holder fits nicely in with my existing wall bracket. I used the old screws since the new screws were too thick. And the existing rods were too thin for the screw clamps to hit. Otherwise this new double rod holder did the job for me
