I added curtains above my patio doors. Because it's so wide, it requires a middle bracket. Unfortunately, the spot I needed to drill to add the middle bracket has non-penetratable metal. So, I ordered these to use the adhesive to hold up the middle. So far, these are working great. I will say, I added one too low, so I took it down to move it and it pulled the paint right off. Luckily, this came with 4, so I was able to use another one.

As a homeowner, I rarely want a fix that feels temporary. As a homeowner who can't find wall studs, this is the perfect fix. I've been using these for three months, and they've blown command strips out of the water. Definitely worth purchasing!

The adhesive was not strong enough to hold up a curtain rod and curtains. I ended up peeling it off so that I could use command strips with it, but then learned that there was an opening in the back of the hook. I tried to use command strips anyway even though there was not much surface area to work with, and it ended up falling off the wall. The total weight of my curtains and rod are 10lbs, which is not that heavy for blackout curtains and a cheap rod. I also tried it with curtains that were maybe 6lbs and those fell too. I ended up buying 15lb Command Hooks and will try using 2 of those to hold up the curtains next.

When these holders, I was so excited to buy them. I’ve been putting up curtains for many many years and these are awesome. They hold up any medium weight curtains or less. They are super simple to put up.The only thing I would say is make sure and clean the wall with rubbing alcohol or something similar before you put them up. Once I did that no problem..

I initially purchased a less expensive brand of curtain rod holder, and more than half of them began to peel off the wall in the first week after application. I purchased this brand, applied them to the wall on the adhesive, and then secured it with a single screw from the packaging in the top hole (without the plastic bracket for the screw); it provides all the strong hold that I need for moderately heavy curtains for general window coverage.

Using the adhesive don’t stick, my curtain rods kept falling. Had to drill screws in which defeated the purpose of purchasing these
