It works good alone on an electric drill. It works much better in combination with a wheel cleaner. I used this brush with P&S brake buster and it cleaned the surface well.

I used this to clean up and resurface axle hub when changing brake rotors. Its design is good to clean the studs without damaging them. The quality is great and they are sturdy.

Easy to use with good results. I replaced disc brake pads all around on 2015 Murano.

Tool broke after cleaning one hub. The design is horrible! I've used these for years without problems, but never had one from this company and will never waste my money again on any oem tool. Disc's are held on with velcro and the horrible design means the tool is too wide to fit between the center of the hub and the studs. If you make it work the tool just breaks because it's plastic crap. Don't wast your money!

I've used this tool for a few brake jobs now and while the abrasive pads do a great job of cleaning up the faces of hubs/rotors around the wheel studs, I am pretty disappointed with the poor quality of the plastic used on both the tool itself and the backing of the pads. I'm using these in a small Milwaukee M12 drill and I've had several issues with the abrasive pad coming undone front the tool and the plastic tabs that are meant to keep the tool and pad locked together are beginning to sheer. There is velcro on both pieces to help keep them secured, but I find it really doesn't help much when you're actually using it. Overall, I love the concept and will continue to use the tool until it fails, but it would be nice to have the same tool in better build quality.

This set is ok. It does speed up the process of of grinding rist off of flat surfaces, but it was frustrating when dealing with corners or round surfaces. I think a stiff wire brush attachment wound likely be more effective

Just finished using to do the brakes on all four wheels. Cleaned up the hub on all 4 corners (and 20 studs) pretty good. The pad popped off a few times when using at high RPM, and on the last hub it got caught on one of the studs and tore apart a little. Otherwise they seem to be made well and hold up. It was a tight fit between the studs and hub, so might not fit on all (smaller) cars. Overall it worked well. Fairly inexpensive. I'm happy I bought it

I would call this a must have tool when swapping winters to summers and back. Cleaned the mating surfaces great.

Let me start by saying that I really wanted to like this tool. Being that it is less than half the cost of the 3m version, I was trying to save some money. Anyway, so let me start by saying that this thing is made of CHEAP plastic. If you plan on buying something that will last a while, look elsewhere. Also, the little pads are velcroed on to the tool. They came off multiple times while I was using it. They have trouble staying in place. Next, when the pads did stay on and make good contact with the hub surface, it did not finish the surface evenly. The final product was not a smooth hub surface, but rather a rough unfinished look. Next, when using this it seems to wobble all over the place. I used it with 2 different power drills and due to the face that there is not place to grab onto so you can steady it, the tool just wobbles and is difficult to control at times. I feel like this would be more suitable for a die grinder if it wasn’t made out of plastic. (It will not fit a die grinder, I tried). Finally, where can you buy replacement pads for this???? It seems like when you run out you’re just SOL or you have to buy the tool again. Was not impressed with this. Save your money and buy a nicer version. I gave 2 stars because it worked slightly.

I use it every time I change rotors or everyone and then when I rotate tires. The reason your tires shake may be this. In fact your brakes will work better also. If the rust is between wheel hub and rotor it will wear your rotors funny and they will start shaking within a few thousand miles. Even if they are new. You will thank me later if you do this . I’ve been wondering for a long time now what’s the reason my brakes shook after a few months. After multiple sets of rotors pads, new calipers, new brake hoses, new wheels, countless tire balances - I gave up and I asked a friend who has been a mechanic for a long time. He told me this could be why and man was he right. I must have spent hundreds of dollars on something that could have been fixed for less than 20!?!One of these brushes wears out pretty quick and then it gets to the point where you need to run it a lot longer on your hubs to clear the rust. Otherwise it will last you awhile. Just know that it is less abbrassive after your first 2 wheels
