Its a great sized container and keeps the coffee freshness contained. I had the other one but I always felt that the coffee was losing it aroma and flavor. So far this one has worked really one and the glass quality is solid as well. I like the top button sealing and opening the lid. Love it when I open the lid and smell the freshness of coffee aroma.

Was Leary that it would be water tight after seeing the lid was still movable after the button was clicked... But it works! Keeps any liquid right where it's supposed to be. The glass feels kind of plasticy. I don't know what that means, if anything. Hopefully that it won't break quite as easily. Looks great. Classy but in a modern way. 1200ml of holdability. Could always use more units of measurement though... Or a second scale on the opposite side. Whatever though. It's nice and I like it.

The seal is great. The lid has a silicone ring, and it fits in snuggly but easily. One press to close, and the lid doesn't come off. One press to pop the button and now it's open and easy to remove. It is the perfect size to store coffee or tea bags, even sweeteners or bulk herbs. The straight up and down sides mean it is easy to wash, and I could even see using it for a sourdough starter if I was in a pinch since it has measurements in ml on the side.

This coffee canister was packaged very well and looks very sharp on my counter or in the cupboard. The one press button on top is super easy to use. When not press down the lid easily and effortlessly lifts off the canister. Once you press the button down it does seal securely in place. However, even with it sealed I was able to remove the lid without much effort, and without releasing the seal. So while it does appear to be airtight, it doesn’t seem like it removes all the air in the canister. In other words, it’s not a vacuum airtight, It’s just an airtight seal.

This is a very nice looking canister. Unfortunately, it’s not as good as it looks. While I appreciate the gradation, it doesn’t really say what type of scale (I assumed it’s ml). I tested against my measuring cup and it seemed accurate for milliliters indeed. This is great, but when you advertise a product for dry goods, then it doesn’t make sense to have liquid gradations. The sizing is also off - photo says 10x8.54, but it is in fact only about 8x4 inches. I’m not trying to nitpick, but I have trouble with false advertising, especially when it comes to its functionality. I highly doubt that this canister is airtight. You can easily take out the lid even with the top pressed. I tested it with brown sugar which is notorious for drying out easily when container is not air tight. Yep, it hardened after a few days. As such, I can only recommend this product for certain foods like regular flour, beans, rice, pasta, and other foods that aren’t very sensitive to air exposure. For the price, there are plenty of better options out there.

We have been looking for something to replace our plastic containers for a little while now and this seemed perfect. We go through a lot of coffee in our house, so it’s important to keep the beans fresh. This container seems to keep a fairly strong seal and it holds a good amount of beans. It feels sturdy and made with good quality materials. It’s easy to clean and gets the job done. My only wish for improvements is that since I will be using this container for coffee beans (and perhaps loose tea leaves), I wish this was semi-transparent instead of super clear. But regardless, the price seems to match the quality of product you will be getting and it will be a good storage item for cookies, flour, sugar, etc.

TLDR: exactly as shown/described - durable glass container with a vacuum tight lid.I recently was gifted a bag of geisha coffee beans (google it- it's amazing!). I've been grinding per cup & with no other option, just taping the bag & leaving in the cupboard next to my regular daily blend =Every time I opened the cupboard I was hit with a pang of sadness, thinking about it rapidly weakening by the day. After about a week of this, I decided to do something about it lol Enter: research that led to purchase of this container. Now another week later, I got a huge whiff of aroma when opening it for the first time since. Whew, my sunny days are back again, haha!

This glass storage canister is extremely easy to use with a large, single button opening and closing mechanism; one push to open, one push to seal. The top has a silicone seal, and the body is made from borosilicate glass (high grade, used for food storage), making it not only functional but with a high-quality appearance too. This is a perfect option for storing ground or whole bean coffee in a cabinet. For those that can’t be bothered to grind beans everyday anymore – like me – this works well for holding ground coffee. You’re definitely not limited to storing whole bean coffee, or having to pour various contents out from the container. If you want to store ground coffee I would suggest that you get a longer coffee scoop (in either a 1 or 2 Tbsp size) to make reaching the bottom easier. (11”+ should work well and there are many options available here on amazon).I’m just beginning to use it so I’ll update this if anything changes, but it does everything I need right now. To recap, it’s a high-quality food-grade storage container that’s attractive and easy to use, it fits in the cupboard perfectly, and it holds ground or whole bean coffee. Tip, if you use ground coffee in any container, just make sure you keep the container you use sealed and away from light.
