I bought this for a specific boring operation. The very nature of this tool insures that it cannot be very rigid. That being said by being careful with cutting depth and speed I got the job done with acceptable results.

I had to bore a 1.5" hole 4" deep in 6061 aluminum. It did an outstanding job. Very little flex even with it sticking out about 4.5" Overall I was pleased with it
