This really works well if you know what you’re doing. I don’t but I’m getting better at it. I practiced first on the dog and got proficient enough to do the lady next door who doesn’t squirm nearly as much as the dog. i took a shot at the cat but that didn’t work out.

After returning several others because the pointy ends weren't thin enough to do the job of getting between my teeth, and not being a bit flexible for scaling, I FINALLY found one of these that I feel I could keep. Yes, it's more expensive than the other ones I bought, but I returned the other words because they were all crap. This one is the keeper!

I have been looking long and hard for a thin metal pick to clean between teeth. This is it.It has the thin, precise and sharp picks to probe and clean between teeth. It is also just the right size and weight. It is definitely more money than other picks I have seen. However, this is the correct purchase for my dental needs and I am very happy with it.

Don’t buy a kit, spend the extra money on this quality pick/explorer/scaler. I’ve been looking for a truly stainless, dentaist quality tool and this is it!

Probes are very thin and strong, allowing them to reach anywhere. Much better than the so-called "dental instruments" sold in drug stores.

For those people who wish to poke around in their own teeth, or perhaps their childrens' teeth, this is the diagnostic explorer that is equivalent to what a dental professional uses. It has two ends, both with sharp points, meant to explore the pits and grooves of teeth. If it "sticks" or feels soft and sinks into the tooth, it is likely there is a cavity. Leave the actual diagnosis up to your dental progessional, but this gives you a heads-up view of your own teeth. Keep out of reach of children as the explorer tines are quite sharp. Made of stainless steel. Can be boiled or put through the dishwasher to disinfect between uses. This is a very sturdy model and will last decades.kone
