These are super cool. You get 10 in a pack. Individual packages for each one. Assorted colors and designs. These also are about as big as my hand. They do work as described. Also these are reusable. Instructions are on the back of each one. I used these inside of my husband surprise explosion gift box. Probably really good to use like at a party or wedding. They do fly off pretty quickly and your don't know which way they will flap to ..like a really butterfly.

I picked this set, because it had prettier butterflies with the pointy wings, but once we got those out we realized that they are garbage. They have a really flimsy metal frame and they don't fly for crap. So they look pretty and maybe we'll make them into magnets or something because they don't work for what they're supposed to work for. Of the plastic ones we got three broke when we were trying to wind them up, so we ended up with 16 or so working ones. We popped these and teacher appreciation and mother's Day cards for Grandma's, and everybody thought they were really cool. And the kids got to pick a couple to play with and they had a blast with them. We found that the rounded top wing ones fly the best, so I would recommend a different set that has all plastic ones, and then you can trim any cool shaped wings to just be round and then they will fly a lot better. Much better deal than buying one of the pre-packed boxes.

The product is good and all butterflies were flying. However only complaint is I got 19 only for two packs i ordered. It should be carefully monitored. I dont have time to return and replace so went ahead.

I love the idea of these butterflies, especially to add to gift cards. They are bright and colorful and a lot of fun when they "fly" out of the card. They are fairly durable because the material is a very lightweight plastic, but can easily get bent by little hands.Beware that even though the surprise of opening a card and having a butterfly come out is kind of the whole idea, it is a safety caveat that this item could easily fly into someone's eye --- especially little ones --- if their head is directly over the card when opened. We mailed them to all the grandkids, ages 2-21, but felt the need to write on the envelope "hold away from you while opening." Took a bit of the surprise away but imagine a 2-yr-old opening the card and having this hit him directly in his little face. :-(We were also a bit disappointed that the more they were used, the less "flight" they took. They weren't broken - just seemed like there were only a few good uses.

I made a couple exploding boxes got birthday gifts for a couple granddaughters. They LOVED the surprise of the butterflies escaping from the box when the lid was lifted up! I also included one in a Valentine’s Day card for another granddaughter and it totally surprised her as it flew away when card was opened. Will buy again. One wing slid off its little arm as I wound it up, but I just added a tiny bit of glue and slid the wing back on and it was fine. Very fun!

Requires lots and lots and lots and lots of twisting to wind up but well-received by the little kids.

I bought these to put into cards to send out to people. We don't seem to get enough fun mail nowadays and this definitely did the trick! I put two in a card to my mom and she laughed hysterically (she is 90!). She sent them to her sister who screamed and laughed on the phone when she opened the letter my mom sent her. I sent another two to a friend in a card and she immediately called me and said, "OMG I just pee’d my pants screaming and laughing!". She is sending them to her mom... this is the gift the keeps on giving! I am buying more to send to more friends. In the days of COVID that we have now... this is the perfect laugh that people need.
