Your cart is empty.The PDI06 is a power attenuator for live applications. The device is connected between the amplifier output and the speaker cabinet. It makes it possible to use the popular power stage distortion of tube amplifiers while reducing the associated high volume level. This permits practical volume reduction in six increments from 100% to 18% for stage and practice room situations. An additional setting mutes the speaker completely; the PDI06 then functions as a LOAD BOX and absorbs the entire output power of the amplifier. This mode of operation is useful, for example, when connecting an amplifier equipped with a speaker cabinet emulation directly to the mixing desk using an existing line-out and loud volume levels in the recording booth are undesirable. The unit has an input for the speaker signal from the amplifier and an outputs for connecting a speaker cabinet. The total impedance of the speakers must equal the value shown on the PDI06. For example: the outputs of a PDI06 that is specified for 8 ohms can be connected to one 8 ohm cabinet or two 16 ohm cabinets (the 16 ohm version has only one output). The output of the (tube) amplifier is also set to 8 ohms.

I've got an orange th30 which is a very loud amp. I can't push it very much without disturbing the neighbours. With this attenuator I can't push the tubes to have a very nice tone and dirty grit!!! And without compromising the tone by the way. Very effective attenuator.

Un attenuatore di qualità, dal costo non esagerato ed inferiore ad altri dispositivi simili. Utile per far ruggire un amplificatore puro valvolare, di peso cementizio, pompato con gli steroidi, a livello poco più alto di un vagito di un dolce gattino. (Massimo 120 watt).È assolutamente semplice, solo per uomini concreti: chitarra, cavo, attenuatore, amplificatore rigorosamente valvolare, una birra fresca e anche una bionda maggiorata bonazza appresso.Ha un interruttore on off per bypassare l'attenuazione e una manopola per scegliere il livello di riduzione, che gli ingegneri tedeschi hanno calibrato in percentuale: il 18% è il livello massimo di attenuazione. In pratica a 18% fa "passare" il 18% della "potenza", attenua cioè l'82%, a "70%" fa passare il 70%, attenua cioè il 30%. Al di sotto di 18%, secondo i rigorosi test Palmer (ricordo, sono tedeschi), non ne vale la pena, perché non c'è abbastanza energia per fare muovere gli speaker.Se non vi basta, compratevi una Boss GT, suonate in cameretta con le cuffie e ascoltatevi un po' di trap.Il timbro non cambia, chi lo dice mente, come quando viene scoperto a letto con l'amante ed esclama "non è come pensi". Il Palmer è assolutamente rispettoso, come un cavaliere errante verso sua maestà, nei bei tempi andati.Questo è un dispositivo:- medico, perché ne giova l'udito;- sociale, perché ne giovano i vicini, (ma qualche ostinato, può farvi mandare lo stesso una lettera dall'amministratore);- spirituale, perché lo eleva, poiché ti permette di sentire, finalmente, il vero suono di una Peavey 5150, ottenibile solo a volume + 11 e senza disturbare le campane della domenica.Un robusto scatolo (si scatolo), di teutonica fattezza e freddezza: in acciaio spesso, niente orpelli, niente uscite bilanciate, niente uscite line, niente trimmer, niente trigger, niente led, niente display, niente switch. Solo ingresso dall'ampli e uscita alle casse. Compreso piedini in kevlar. Come Dio comanda, rutto compreso.Alla larga fautori del digitale, neurale, simulatori, dsp, sistemisti.
