Cool manual chainsaw tool that comes with its own file for re-sharpening.I have a Sven saw that I keep in the mail Jeep...but I'm going to add this just in case.It's a drag when a small tree falls and you can't get out of a neighborhood when you're delivering mail.Haven't had a reason to sharpen this yet...and I guess that you just hold each link when you're using the file? Never sharpened a chain like that...should be interesting.This is a cool tool...and seems to be made well.I will not be a trapped mailman.That's a good thing, for sure.

This is a handy survival tool that I definitely think is worth the price! I only gave it 4 stars because I've only used it 1 time and I haven't been able to look into the durability of the tool yet. That being said, the materials are very sturdy and it is incredibly light. I'll definitely find a lot of use for it out in the backcountry!

This is a good quality saw that will cut down a small tree quickly. Use it for clearing branches and removing woody shrubs. On the trail it will an emergency tool when you need to clear a path. It is definitely NOT for larger trees where I could not guarantee the direction of the fall with accuracy.

I have tried multiple saws like this and this one is one of the best I have ever tried.Other saws will skip links with teeth and you'll only get a fraction of the cutting links that you get with this one. This has teeth set up so it cuts both directions so there is no wasted motion.The handles are big enough for any hands, even with gloves. This can be used alone or with the help of another person.This design makes it one of the most practical and functional saws to keep on hand. It packs down so small it can fit in any toolbox or glove box. It can fit in a pack a lot easier than many saws. It is so easy to use anyone can manage it.I think this is a high quality saw. For this design it is probably the highest quality I have seen. It is a great value for the current price of under twenty dollars. I want one of these in every vehicle and I will take it on every camping trip. Compact and actually useful. I absolutely recommend this saw.

I recently had the opportunity to try out the Pocket Chainsaw 48 Teeth, 36 Inch Heavy Duty Hand Saw, and I'm really happy with it. I took it camping last week and it was a lifesaver. I ended up needing to use it to cut up some wood, and it really worked well. It’s easy to carry since you can fold it up into a compact size. It's got a nice, sharp blade that makes it easy to get through anything you might need to cut. I think this chainsaw is durable and efficient for the wilderness.
