Product works well. Customer service is very good. But the device has to be removed when storing remaining wine. It doesn’t preserve the wine. So, I had to pour the remains into another bottle. Also, the pods cost $5 per pod, per bottle. At 3 glasses of wine per bottle that’s $5 per bottle vs the wine filter “tea bags” which are only $1 each per glass. Therefore, it’s cheaper to get the bags. Now, if they made the device that also preserves the wine, and doesn’t have to be removed, that might be more appealing and more attractive than the bags even at a higher cost, especially when serving guests.

I opened the package and it was littered with gold coloured media. I think one of the two extra pods leaked. Not a problem. I washed everything out, the siphon tube was the hardest to clean. Used the Phoenix no problem.I rated 4 stars because I have been using the Phoenix for approximately two years. It works. The reason I ordered a second one is because the three clips that hold the lid over the pod are a weak spot. On my first one a clip broke off within a month but the phoenix was still usable as long as I held it properly. Then a second clip broke making it a really difficult thing to use.

I have been dealing with migraine-adjacent symptoms that seem to get worse with drinking wine. I did not notice any difference. It does add many fine air bubbles so it may be effective at decanting. I used it with white wine so it was hard for me to tell exactly. It wanted to push itself out of the bottle while pouring, but after a few uses it quit. The pour is very slow as other reviewers have mentioned.

We purchased this system for our friends who visit and have serious problem with sulfites. Although they were reluctant to try it at first, I convinced them to try it. Amazingly, the Phoenix system really does work as advertised! I know our friends will be purchasing their own so they can enjoy wine with their dinner every night rather than having to purchase only sulfite-free wines. And they get to enjoy wine when they visit us. Great product! I will make sure to keep the refill pods in stock.

I was not sure that it would filter out the histamine and the sulfites out of wine but it does, finally enjoying wine WOW! Adds no flavor or chemichals to the wine!

The problem I had with the unit was it leaked from the base. Not only that but it allowed gas to build up & made my wine shoot all over the wall after I had poured a glass & walked away. Then when I tried to get a second glass, it leaked from the air inlet valve. Seems like it had a bad production build. I appreciate not having my histamine reactions with this unit (second unit poured slow but it works) but seems like it should have a better fit to keep from having issues pouring.*** Having switched to the second unit, and having more of the same through this device, I am going to say that you are going wait for your wire to be poured. Second, you WILL spill a lot of wine trying to get half a glass. I suspect its because of a poor seal design with the stopper & the air hole to equalize the pressure to have the wine flow is also of bad design. What I suspect we need for a good filter is some way that we can pour a whole bottle ourselves. Something that maintains a hard seal on the bottle, or use some sort of funnel filter to the wine glass.

This worked a treat, I didn't wake up with a sore heart, I would highly recommend this 👌

You put the straw in and once you turn the bottle over and fill a glass the wine no longer hits the straw and comes out the back of the device and spills every where. It's also not returnable so it's a waste of money.

First of all everyone should know that this product costs over $10 for ONE bottle of wine! After one bottle of wine, you have to throw it out. And, it didn't do anything to stop the wine drinker from snoring, so it didn't work. The product comes in a pair for $19.99 plus tax, and only included one stem for the two aerators - so, the first box didn't have a stem in it - waste of $10, spilled everywhere. Live and learn!
