A clever design. The light itself is very bright for such a small compact tool. The telescopic section is topped by a flexible gooseneck, making it capable to retrieve pieces that a straight rod could not. The magnetic base is surprisingly strong, making it capable enough to stay in one position. The magnet at the other end is also capable enough at lifting small items. A handy tool to keep around, without taking up too much space. I ended up buying four more of these for gifts around the holidays.

This TOOL is a multifunctional device . The telescoping head light with LED light is great! But then the flexing head lets you get into places that are shadowed by obstructions. The magnet is a lifesaver for people like me that drop nuts and bolts are the time . Well engineered !

Almost everything that's not rechargeable these days, comes requiring a battery not included. Not this one! Not only are there batteries in it already, so it's ready to use(after removing the paper blocking the battery from running down), but it has a 4 pack of spare batteries in the box! Awesome customer care! 👏 I tested it on some bolts, washers & nuts. It worked like a charm. There is a magnet at both ends, so if you don't need the flashlight (for behind something) you can use the other end as well. It telescopes out in the same way as the older model car radio antennas did (as mine still does😂). The end has a section which is bendable/shapeable, so it can reach around something. That section is strong enough to hold it's shape while I pulled the handle of a broom back to me from behind the freezer.*My only negative about the entire thing is that the magnet does not work around the sides of the light(at the end), only on the face of the light(a small section shaped like a washer is the magnet🧲 around the light itself). It would be extremely helpful if the sides of the light were also magnetic for an area of about a quarter inch up from the light end. Other than that, I absolutely love it and had wanted one for some time. When I saw the 'lighting deal', I grabbed it!

I bought this for my family’s secret Santa gift exchange. It was a huge hit! My daughter loved the telescoping wand, and the flexible light made it so versatile. She was surprised with the magnetic pickup end, too. It’s two useful gadgets in one. Seems very durable. And the box it came in is very nice, she’s going to keep it in the box in her kitchen drawer so it’s always handy. So nice that it came with batteries! We love this unique tool and will buy more for the family and ourselves.

This is a really useful magnetic light - the magnet is a ring around the light - so when you're trying to pick something up - you can see it! I love the light. It is telescoping - so you lengthens as you need. A terrific gift - or tool for the tool drawer! Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source.
