I bought this for my wifeโs new Garmin Edge 1050. She used to have an K-Edge one for her BMC TeamMachine SLR01 with ICS Carbon Aero handlebar, which worked great for her previous 1040 but isnโt long enough for 1050.I was as little bit hesitant when seeing this mount. I like its look and the price, but was not sure about the quality as carbon fiber bicycle product usually are super expensive. I decided to give it a try, and it turned out to be a great decision. This mount is super light and sturdy. I installed it all the way to the back so as to ensure most sturdiness and still itโs long enough for 1050. We had a couple of rides with it, and so far itโs been working flawlessly, even with a headlight mounted underneath.

All I needed was a mount housing for my bike GPS Speedometer and this gem worked out perfectly. Add some 6062 aluminum and it becomes totally versatile. Completely wireless.

I have a Garmin 1030 plus I use with this. It attaches fine and holds the Garmin. Only complaint is it seems it should be stiffer. I can see my Garmin bouncing around a little bit when I am ridding. It has not been a problem, just seems to be not as stable as I would like.

I bought this to use on an integrated bar/stem combo aero handlebar on a Factor One road bike. The item is as it appears, but for my use it required me to grind some of the length off. The adjustability doesn't apply to my specific situation, and in fact, was a negative. Additionally the angle of the mounting puts it in an awkward & upright position. It is just simply a straight and flat piece of carbon. As a result, for me it is certainly not aero, and it also vibrates substantially, causing a light beam to bounce around a lot when riding at night. The instability of the computer screen from vibration makes it difficult to read at times as well.The mount is stiff, but it is not stiff enough to resolve these problems for my needs. I did not return it or complain, because I chose to modify it so that I could try to make it work. I had to grind down the attachment end of the mount in order for it to fit under my bars. I should not have done so, as the result was disappointing.However, on the UPSIDE, if you will be using a smaller/lighter computer than the Garmin 1040 solar that I use, and don't have the added weight of a light for night riding or a camera utilizing the bottom GoPro mount, and you also don't need to adjust the overall angle of the unit (or prefer it upright), then this should work for you.

Not even 3 months after I purchased this item, the latch that holds the Garmin on the mount broke and the GPS jumped out of the mount. Luckily I was using a rubber on my device attached to my handlebar saving my Garmin device from breaking it.Not recommended.
