I was so happy to find this after I destroyed the original when I failed to plug the drain hole and the flap got stuck. I broke the tank trying to free it because it was stuck open and caught. So, my only caution is to make sure you plug it back in after emptying, before replacing the tank on the unit.

The XCESS XPRESS Dirty Water Tank OEM Compatible with Hoover Powerdash Pet FH50700 did not work properly on my Hoover carpet cleaner. The dirty water tank did not provide adequate seal which was required for making my unit to dispense water properly. I contacted Hoover regarding the part and they implied that the part may be a knock off and not a genuine Hoover part. Well, it certainly did not work on my Hoover Powerdash Pet FH50700. Sought a refund and returned the unit! Buyer beware!
