Good value for money. Solidly built and it was easy to mount into a shelf to create my own rack.

Bought these just to mount a few patch panels and power bar for my small home network closet. The frame seems very strong and would probably hold up large switches easily.I did have to purchase bolts for this separately and the bolt size that this was taped for was different than the screws that came with my components, but I found some for a couple bucks at the hardware store.

Used to mount 5 X Wireless microphone receivers for a hall installation of 20 microphones. Easy to install and use. Picture is misleading though - you only receive a pair of the longer rails. Fast delivery and work great.

Item: Reliable Hardware Company RH-8-SRR-A Rack Rail, BlackPart Number: RH-8-SRR-AASIN: B00JQYUEA2Purchase Date: December 11, 2022They are rack rails. Though they leave much to be desired. They are just very plainly bagged, without any identification of what company they are from or what country of origin as well. There is one warning label on the bag - CAUTION SHARP OBJECTS INSIDE. And it is a very valid warning. There appears to have been no smoothing of the cut ends or deburring of all the punched and threaded holes, resulting many fine edges which if not careful may result in cuts while handling.Several reviewers have stated they are not 1/8 inch thick. They are not. According to reference dot com "Standard 11 gauge steel is 0.1196 inches thick, and galvanized 11 gauge steel is 0.1233 inches thick, according to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill." These are not glavanized, they are standard steel. 1/8 inch is 0.1250 which is 0.054 thicker than 0.1196. This may seem trivial, though it is not.The product page states the "Finish: Black Powder Coat" implying the whole rail is finished. They are not. The ends are bare steel from where they were cut from longer stock.Several reviewers have mentioned that the threaded holes have different thread pitch between manufacturers. After a review of the EIA standards that cover rack rails, they do not specify what thread pitch should be used - meaning - there is no defined standard. Though 10-32, 12-24, and M6 are commonly used. These use 10-32. A 10-32 thread pitch means each thread is 0.0313 wide. Recall these rails are not 0.1250 thick, they are 0.1196 thick. The loss of 0.054 thickness results in lost thread availibility for attachment of devices to these rails. Resulting in more force on the attachment points. My intended use for these rails is for a 10 inch mini rack, not a 19 inch rack. So the weight limitations of the thinner rails and resulting loss of thread availibility in the mounting holes should not be a problem for me. Would I recommend these for 19 inch rack use. NO!Ultimately will I use these for my project? No. This is due to the amount of time I would need to spend in reworking them, remove the sharp edges, deburr, repaint and so forth.

One thing to note. The screw holes are clogged with the powder coating so each one has to be chased with a 10/32 tap. Very easy to do, just takes some time in front of the TV. Well worth it for the price.

Worked well for me. I used them to build an inexpensive rack case. The rails definitely have sharp edges to be careful of. The first and last holes of each rail was a bit messy, but I made them work. Many reviewers mentioned they had to use a tap and die set to properly size the holes. I thought I had the same issue until I used Raxxess rack screws (part PTSW25 - a 25 pack), which I had on hand. The Raxxess screws fit without any issue and cleared out any paint overspray. These rails are decent for the price and worked for me..

Got them yesterday, installed them in minutes and got to racking up gear. I did't have any problems with the threaded holes - I didn't find any need to chase them with a tap, nor did I find them particularly tight. Whatever problems other have encountered must have been heard by the supplier and fixed. I do wish they had standard M6 holes however, because that's what most equipment comes with, and it's what most racks use.Overall - really sturdy, cut precisely (yes, sharp edges, easily remedied with a quick swipe of a file) and just what I needed for my custom studio rack. If they came with normal M6 threads then they'd be even better.

Great rails. If you find they are a little tight for your screws, then just use a #10-32 tap available at your hardware store. Just screw it in with the T-handle and back it out and you will be good to go. Obviously they don't test every hole with every screw, we wouldn't want the manufacturer to do that because it would make the product cost much higher. I tested all the holes on my 12u rails and they all were good. Nice paint, nice finish, ok packing.
